Camden Rocker Recliner

Relax in the comfort of the spacious Camden rocker recliner. The seating area is constructed with soft top grain leather. Extra padding is used in all the major touch points on the arms, pillowed headrest, inside back, and chaise footrest. Sinuous wire seating attached with swing anchors further add to the Camden's comfort, providing a wrap around environment that begs to be lounged in. The Camden's seat box is crafted with hardwoods. The solid frame construction features mortise and tenon glued joints that are corner blocked, extending the seating life of the recliner. The feather/down wrapped seat cushion with pocketed coils will provide a more comfortable seat and longer life. The back cushions are filled with fiber blown into pocketed channels to prevent settling and preserve the look and feel of your chair. Additional quality features include reinforced backing on all stitching, strengthening the seams and reducing slippage and wear. The recliner back can be removed easily to fit through small doorways and up stairs. A trimmed fabric liner underneath the recliner conceals all exposed wood and a leather wrapped handle proves that every detail has been addressed to provide a finished look that is as handsome and stylish as it is functional.          Please email swatch@newcreationsintl.com to receive a sample swatch. very comfortable

Pros: very comfortable
Cons: does not swivel
"I almost did not buy this chair after reading the review that said the handle was difficult.... Well the handle is not at all difficult.... and I just had back surgury. I am glad that I overlooked that review because I am totaly satisfied. I easily fall asleep in this chair...and when I arise from it I have no back pain.... (my previous chair was not so theraputic). I give it 5 stars... Note: it is big...."

Good Quality Leather Rocker Recliner

Pros: very comfortable, very fine leather cover
Cons: need a back tension adjustment for reclining back.
Model Number: 581541
"Very comfortable. It is a little heavy (I understood that when I bought it) and it was a little problem putting the back on by myself. One should have some help with the lifting, but the back went on just fine. The leather is soft and smooth. It is a very good value compared to others in retail stores. Well padded."

Comfortable with Small Caveat

Pros: color is rich, comfortable, small box, easy to assemble
Cons: footrest lever hard to move
"I would describe myself as a comfort shopper. I tried this in the store and liked it. I needed something comfortable to sit in and the price was lower than online and (I considered) a good buy.
I have had it for one month. Trying it in the store helped (they had another around the same price that was stiff and not as attractive).
The box was small considering this is a recliner. It fit in my small Honda SUV (with back seats out) and would be an easy fit into a larger one. It was difficult for me to manage by myself (average fit female), but I did it. I still had the Costco personnel load it since it was a tight fit.
The color is a rich brown with a hint of burgundy, which fits my living area. It was fairly heavy (even if in a smaller box). This was due to the way it was packed. It has clear instructions on the outside to prevent damage when opening. The wood and cardboard frame of the packaging is great and really protects it. I did have to use a box cutter when getting through and made sure I followed the lower box cut on the outside to prevent damage. It took about 15-20 minutes to get it out and a few more to cut & discard the packing. The chair comes in two pieces (main & back). The instructions are OK (could have been drawn a little better), but it is an easy fit and the back slid into the seating frame and snapped. It has been secure without issue.
The leather had a nice smell without being overly powerful and now I don't smell it at all (unless I put my nose up to it). After having it for this past month, I have to say it IS comfortable and I could sleep in it if needed. The footrest comes up and while it will support my legs, if my (Golden Retriever) comes over and tries to get up on it, she is too heavy for it and it goes down.
This leads to my only issue with it: the footrest lever. It is very difficult to maneuver. I have shoulder problems and even if I did not, this is not an easy lever. It sits more towards the floor, so unless you have VERY long arms (I have long arms, but not just that long), you will have to stretch down to reach it. Then you will have to exert more than just a light force to move the footrest. If this is purchased for a person with arm or upper back problems, I would say try it out first. This could be a problem."

Great Chair

Pros: comfortable
"I bought this when our lazy boy recliner broke. Boy, this is the most comfortable chair I've owned. I'm planning on buying another one soon. We did get a slight color fade where someone must lay their head. I probably could have returned it, but it's not that big of a deal."

Returned after two months

"Got this leather rocker/recliner about two months ago. I liked the quality of the leather and extra padding all around. However, about a week ago, the padding under the seating area seemed to come loose and it formed an unsightly ripple under the leather. As it progressed, the ripple became bigger and it does not feel comfortable to sit on anymore. Thanks to Costco "satisfaction guarantee", the chair was returned this morning at local store. I really hope the padding issue is just an assembling glitch on this particular chair."
