Great High Chair
"We replaced our used (plastic) high chair with this chair, and I'm very happy with it.
There are three tray layers - the very bottom layer is part of the chair (you don't remove it), but it's only big enough for a few carrots, so it doesn't really get in the way when moving baby in and out - the very top layer is like a thin shell that can be detached and is dishwasher safe. We use this ALL the time.
A convenient button on the front (under the logo) allows you to remove the tray with just one hand. It's convenient, but we don't use it that much. We mostly use the two side levers to remove the trays.
Reviewers on other sites complain about the set-up. We noticed that if you don't attach two bars (in the beginning) completely level, it will throw off the rest of the chair. You do have to be careful at that step, but once you have them level, it's a breeze to set up. Takes 15 minutes or so. Other reviews comment on the thin padding, but it's no more thin than our previous high chair. I don't plan on leaving our baby in for hours and hours, so a plush seat isn't really what I was looking for.
Things I don't like:
- The seat cover slides down (all the time). This should be an easy fix (just need to add tighter strings to hold it on).
- The top of the chair has a wooden strip that sticks out beyond the rest of the chair right where the baby's head rests. This hasn't been a problem yet.
