"Understand this is my opinion. This really didn't work for me. After owning a larger spa and loving it I was looking to downsize. This spa has a very small foot well and no way to stretch out unless in the lounger.Was a huge disappointment. It was less expensive to run and maintained the temperature relatively well The panels warped after being taken off only once and just seemed to lack the quality I expected. Thank goodness for Costco's warranty and customer service."

AWESOME HOT TUB

"I never write reviews but it really helped me decide when I purchased my Divine Hot tub. I was very nervous buying a tub online that I have never see before. I was about to buy a tub form a local dealer but was really struggling paying the retail mark ups, so I shopped every dealer in town.(we dont have many) but the closer I looked at the the costco tub it had everything that the more expensive brands and more. So I called the dealer who sells them for Costco and spoke direct with the rep at the maufacture who put me at total ease. Turns out it's a major hot tub brand without the logo, call them direct and ask. So I tracked a retail dealer for that brand in Portland and they gave the tub huge reviews and the price was double that of Coscto for same thing. I was sold right then. I was told that it might take 10 days to ship to me which was fine. ordered it and paid for it online at 7pm on a Thursday Night and got a call at 8 am Friday saying that they had a truck coming my way this morning form Seattle and do I want it that quick. Of course I said yes! All around great service and great tub"

"Excellent tub build, good tub support,easy access panels to all tub components.T-handle shutoffs to pumps for easy maintenance in the future.Tubs stays hot 104*.Waterfall looks like a gimmick,but it is relaxing to watch at night.The control panel is straight forward,easy to use/set.Multiple color LED light program.Plenty of jet power. For the price you can not beat this tub.Also a big thanks to Julie at Divine and the staff,they are there to answer the phone and help out.
On the down side,hot tubs are not a one size fits all.The seating could be deeper.At 5'9" the shoulder jets are below my shoulder/neck.R&D should build in an adjustable seat surface to raise or lower body to fit jet patterns.Minor complaint,but this would be a great selling item."

DL-420 A Good Value
Pros: easy installation for experienced person., cool lighting and high power pumps/67 jets., retains heat even while in use, great friendly customer service.
Cons: delivery was a problem in rural area.

"This is the 3rd spa I've owned and it is a very good one by comparison. Installation preperation before delivery is the key to insuring a pain free installation. Follow the instructions available for download on the Costco website.
The DL-420 sits two adults very comfortably. Three adults would start to be crowded and anything beyond three adults would be uncomfortably crowded in my opinion. It heats quickly and retains the heat, even when the spa is being used. 67 jets with 2 5HP pumps is more than ample. It has many great features and details to enjoy. The lighting is especially fun. All in all it provides great value for its price.
I did have problems with delivery. I live in a rural area and advised Divine Hot Tubs to deliver the spa on a small truck when I purchased it. They sub-contract their trucking and their sub-contractor's interpretation of "small" was an approx 35' long x 16' tall box truck--not small at all. I had to have them unload the spa into my pickup truck and deliver it to my home and unload it by myself. At 600 lbs, no small feat. I advise you be very specific if you live in a rural area. Tell Divine Hot Tub you want as short a flatbed as they can manage with a bobtail for unloading. To their credit, Divine Hot Tubs was very apologetic about this and said they were looking into replacing their trucking sub-contractor because of it.
Divine's customer service was great! They were very accesible, very communicative, very, very nice."

Awesome Hot Tub

"I am always a bit reluctant to make a high dollar purchase sight unseen. I am extremely happy overall with the hot tub. I did quite a bit of research for many months prior to deciding on this one. The features I really liked were the relatively compact size (without comprising interior comfort), the powerful pumps (two pumps @ 5hp each compared to other manufacturers with anywhere between 1/2-1hp each), the number and configuration of jets, and the lounge. Each jet is customizable by pressure and angle. The LED lighting on the exterior of the cabinet, in the jets, pillows, and water feature are really cool and are icing on the cake. I have been using it frequently for the past three weeks and my first electric bill showed only a modest increase (not like what I was expecting for the powerful pumps). I also live in a cold climate area where low temps are already in the 30's and it often freezes. There are three settings (standard, economy, and sleep mode). I have been keeping it in the sleep mode during the day and switch it to standard mode when I get home from work. It does a fantastic job of maintaining temperature even with how cold it is outside. Even in sleep mode it has only taken 30 minutes to reach set temperature. All of our friends love it too and I could not be happier. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the cracked plastic on the bottom of the tub which appears to have occurred during shipping. There was a cracked/missing piece of the bottom that was about 6"x6". I would not necessarily blame the shipping company, however, because the plastic on the bottom of the tub was surprisingly thin and was not covered in any type of wrap or protected covering whatsoever (like the shell and cabient which were very well protected). I opted to accept it with the blemish because it was a minor flaw that cannot be seen and will not affect the appearance or my enjoyment. I would recommend the manufacturer used thicker plastic on the bottom and to wrap the entire unit when palletized for shipping. It was also a bit challenging getting it into place on my patio but not impossible with four adults and a pallet jack. Overall I am extremely happy and would definitely recommend this tub!"

Great product
"Based upon two months of usage, I would recommend this spa. Four people can fit comfortably although you will be somewhat close (not uncomfortably close). I and my spa installer were impressed by the insulation and the orderliness of the wiring. The controller is comparable to others on the market. The jets are so powerful that I often close the air intake part-way to calm them down a little. Customer service is remarkable over email (I haven't tried calling). I am usually at baseline or baseline +1 and I have seen about $20 per month extra over the last couple months (Sept/Oct). The lights (both in the tub and out) are great and I actually like the waterfall/fountain, which I thought was silly at first."

Worth the wait

"We have waited over the last year and 1/2 to buy a hot tub. I was constantly looking at local spa stores, and pricing what costs for a quality hot tub(powerful jets, good construction, , including enough jets), which would fit the smaller space of our new deck. This model would be twice the price at those stores. I was also worried about the noise level, due to being outside our bedroom. No problems, this cycles noiselessly. I'm not sure what the operating costs will be, but I appreciate how it automatically returns to the Econmy mode when you are done. I also like the lights. I makes the experience at night more special."

One Great Hot Tub
Pros: for what i got the price is very reasonable., powerful jets., great color combo. gray/cobalt., lounger the best i've been in., holds its heat remarkably well., easy to use., customer service excellent.

"This hot tub is all that is was cracked up to be. I wanted the best so naturally I went to Costco to check out their hot tubs and spas. I replaced a 6-person spa that was 8' x 8' and just too big for my current needs with this Divine Hot Tub which is a 4-person spa. I would say it's roomy for 3. With 4 it would be a lot of feet in the foot well. The construction of this spa is simply perfection. Very solid with access to all 4 sides, an interior floor that's up off the ground and a cabinet that is beautiful and, in my opinion, will last for a very long time. With 2 very powerful pumps and 65 adjustable jets, this baby really performs. The lounger is like nothing I have ever experienced. It is heaven. And the lights in and out of the spa are beautiful. And the adjustable waterfall (3 streams of water) is very cool."

The answer to our training recovery . . .
Pros: great deal

"We have been enjoying the Divine DL-420 for a month now and I must say that it has helped us recover from our long runs as we are preparing for the Marine Corps Marathon. The independent 5 HP motors provide plenty of power to the jets. I am 6 feet tall and have no trouble fitting in the recliner section of the spa.
I'd also like to thank Nancy at Clearwater Spas. She took time to answer my questions and made sure that I was informed about the delivery of the spa. She even followed up after the delivery to make sure we had everything we needed. Allied Trucking did a great job placing the spa on my concrete pad."
