Instructions:
To maximize the life and beauty of your cut flowers, it is important to follow the care tips below.
Fill a clean container with fresh water and flower preservative. Do not use more than the recommended dosage, as the flowers may be sugar sensitive.
Cut your flowers in a diagonal direction, approximately 1-inch from the base of the stems with a sharp knife. This will expose a fresh and wider surface of the stems to the water.
Remove any foliage that will fall below the water line to reduce bacterial contamination of the water.
Revitalize your flowers by re-cutting the stems and placing them in fresh water every 2 to 3 days to maximize shelf life.
Keep your flowers in a cool area to help them last longer.

A rose is a rose
"The roses really "held up" for 5-7 days after delivery, which is remarkable. TWO roses were presented to each lady at Rotary's 9th annual valentine's luncheon. Guests felt special and beamed with delight. GREAT VALUE."

"We orderd bulk roses for our restaurant to give out during Valentine's Day and wow the roses were gorgeous and our Guests loved them! I will defintely order again for all our future events."

Beautiful, but didn't last long.
Pros: beautiful upon arrival.
Cons: doesn't stay beautiful for more than a few days.
"These were a gift, and the recipient was quite happy with the quality of the roses. The pictures I received showed lovely flowers, already opening upon arrival.
However, by day 5, they looked like they had passed their display life. I understand "approximately" 7 days is subject to conditions, but these were well cared for and didn't seem to last.
Whenever I have mail-ordered flowers before, they have arrived with tight buds that start to open a day or two after arriving - thus prolonging the beauty of the arrangement. Since these were already opening when they arrived, their vase time was shortened as well.
If you need these for an event, go for it. But if you are hoping they will last for more than a few days, you might be disappointed.
Also, something strange with the website - but I never received an email that the order was fulfilled AND the order was not in my account history. I contacted Costco.com and they straightened it out around the same time I received a shipment notification. Just be aware of this - especially if you are ordering for an event."

"These arrived as buds on Thursday, two days before our event. By Saturday, they had opened up into beautiful blooms. In all, they lasted 11 days before they were too far gone.
Out of the 100 stems, only 3 were damaged with bent or broken stems."

Fabulous
"These roses are a beautiful lemony yellow...I ordered 400 for a wedding and did not have one bad bloom. A word of caution, be sure and keep checking on your order to make sure it is on schedule...."

Beautiful flowers!

Cons: prep for those who don't want any prep
"I bought 200 (2 orders) yellow roses for my special birthday celebration. The roses arrived in excellent shape on the day I specified which was 2 days before the event. By the second day, they bloomed into beautiful large true yellow roses. Caring for them was very easy: The few thorns came off easily without using the thorn removers I purchased in preparation. I will definitely buy again. 2 days prior is perfect; however, the roses lasted for almost 2 weeks and may have lasted longer if I continued to take care of them. I wish I could post a picture."
