Advanced Clear vs Regular
Pros: improves sleep quality by making breathing easier, clear strips are easier to remove, strips stick on tightly especially the nonclear, improves ease of breathing
Cons: non-clear can be difficult to remove, new shape can take some time to get used to
"I've used both the clear and the regular (non-clear) versions of the advanced, and the clear ones are much easier to remove the next day. For the regulars, I had to wait until the shower softened the adhesive before removing the strip since it felt like I was going to pull the skin off of my nose.
Overall, I like the advanced design, although they do take some time to get used to. Regardless, using any strip is better for me than not using one at all as it definitely helps me sleep better."

new is not as good as old
"I have used Breathe Right strips for several years.
These new strips are very unpleasant. The adhesive is much too strong. It almost pulls the skin off my nose. Yet, it doesn't stay on all night. Please bring back the old single strip ones. They were great."

I love these
Pros: you can breathe
"I can't sleep w/o this. True it does not stick as well as the original but if you wash your nose first it will last all night long. The original seems to stick for 2 days so either is good. I like to keep both. But they are a great product."

works well, better than the regular strips
Pros: wakeup more rested, stops snoring/gasping, more comfortable than cpap machine
Cons: adhesive could be improved, strips don't allow skin to breathe

Change for change's sake is not a good thing!
Cons: too stiff, too large for average woman's nose, pull on skin along nose

"These "Advanced" strips are much too stiff, and since they are also quite large, they pull up on the skin of my cheeks alongside my nose. This is not good for the delicate skin of an older woman! I found that I was very aware of the strip because of its aggressiveness, and this discomfort kept me from drifting off to sleep. I had to get up and replace it with a regular strip.
These strips are not "Advanced" -- they are a step backwards. Why mess with a perfect product? I do not plan to purchase any more "Advanced" strips, and I wiIl be returning the ones I bought. I hope Costco will resume carrying the regular clear small/medium strips, which work beautifully and are a nightly essential to aid my breathing when I sleep."

FAR inferior to regular Breathe-Right strips
Pros: they're "new"

Model Number: The new "Advanced" Breathe-Right Strip. Box w/ orange stripe.
"Because of sinus problems, I've used Breathe-Right strips every night for years. I was interested to try these new "advanced" strips because they claimed to be stronger and allow better airflow. I've now used them for several nights and am sorely disappointed.
They don't stay on my nose! I always wash my face before putting a strip on, but these started to pull free almost immediately. By the middle of the night, it had completely come loose from one side. And to add insult to injury, they leave adhesive on my skin (the regular ones never do).
I hope Costco reads this review, and stops carrying this product!"
