Not a winner in my book

Cons: doesn't operate properly
"Like some other reviewers, I found that this apparatus didn't perform properly. The tension screw is awkward, and I never could get ANY tension on it. The pedals just turned unimpeded. Not of any value for exercise. I have returned it and cannot advise anyone else to buy it."

"The tension screw doesn't screw into unit. I returned it to costco and was going to order
another one but saw the reviews and it seems to be a common problem, so decided not to."

"I purchased this for my 87 year old Mom and she absolutely loves it. Since her balance is not as good as it used to be and she can't walk as much for exercise the Pedal Exerciser if perfect.

Pros: easy to use no assembly, inexpensive, very portable from room to room
"I recently broke my ankle and sprained my other one in an accident and have been using this to keep my muscles active as I'm in a wheel chair for 6 weeks. Works great with out over doing. I'm getting another one for the office for low impact excercise at my desk!!"

Excellent for Knees
Pros: digital display, easy to use, portable folds up if necessary
"I was in a car accident and both of my knees required rehab. My physical therapist had one of these pedal exercisers, and recommended the workout for my knees.
I like that this has a digital display which tells me the number of rotations as well as how long I've been pedaling."

"I like this product. I can now exercise and work/study at the same time. It really works. I use it even in bed. I recommend it for anybody who has no time for exercise - now you can do it while you study. I can adjust the resistance. It was easy to assemble."
