Returning Dead Gift
Cons: broken rock, quick death
"Although packaged well, "rock" was already broken when delivered. Plant was dead within 2 weeks. This was a Mother's Day gift and Mom didn't want to let us know how disappointed she was, so she set the dead, broken gift aside. Don't waste your money and time and risk giving a temporary gift."

Our guests loved them!
""We purchased a variety of Bonsais from costco for the centerpieces at our wedding reception. They were so elegant and the guests loved them. We had even ordered extras sio we could take one home, but they all vanished! The packing was great, they arrived in a timely fashion, the planters were lovely.""

Big, Big Disappointment - Beware!

"What a big disappointment. Not even close to what was promised. I received a small pathetic juniper "shrub" that bore no resemblance to the bonsai "tree" featured on Costco.com. Measured from Topsoil to Apex the product shipped was 5" Tall... Not 10" - 14" as promised. Luck of the draw or simple mistake? I don't think so -- Beware!"

"This was a present for one of the members of our family living in a different state.
Instead of the anticipated 4-5 day delivery, it was delivered in 3 days...way to go!
The bonsai was fresh looking and from feedback we got, it actually looked better than in the photograph.
Highly recommended!"

Solid Bonsai
"I trust costco's ability to always put out a good product. I received it quickly and packaged well. The tree is big and in good shape, didn't need life support. The rock base is a little tough to water and you will need something to put this on for drippings, etc.
Overall I would buy this again!"
