replace cartridge every 4 weeks
Pros: beautiful print
Cons: outgrageously expensive on toner

"I have an older OKI I use at home that has been fantastic. I've maybe replaced the toner 4 times in 5 years. This one gobbles up toner like crazy, and the cartridges are more expensive than those for any other laser we have owned. I chose an OKI for our office because of the beautiful print quality that my older OKI gets. It gets 2 stars for print quality, but definitely not worth it."

Very bad choice
"I had this for less than a year and spent $1200 in toner. Machine always worked fine and tech support was really good. But the machine just cost a fortune to run. Finally got wise and bought a Ricoh."

Expensive to operate
Pros: i have not any trouble with the printer itself.
Cons: i'm going broke.

"I have printed 11,000 pages, but have used so much toner that's its crazy. It works out to 13cents a page. To replace all 4 toners is well over $400. It's cheaper to throw it out and buy a new printer each time."

Issue with Mac OSX
Pros: non-mac printing was excellent quality.
Cons: max osx drivers late, instructions did not show network port (hidden)

"Caution: OKI support noted that new drivers for MAC OSX (Mountain Lion) will not be available for +4 months after release of new OSX 10.8.
No ability to print. Error message not related to problem of Driver compatibility.
Good news was the OKI support was aware of the problem. Bad news was the answer was to use to printer that you had to revert back to prior OSX version.
As such, don't buy this product until after November 2012 if you have a new Mac or if you plan to upgrade to Mountain Lion (10.8) of OSX.
Note: Product support said that this same problem and lag in driver development is standard for OSX, and has happened in the past for several releases."

nice sheen and paper handling

"Setup was pretty easy, Support was good when I called. Installed it on my network via 1 ethernet cable from router and now works wirelessly. Works good with sheet labels. I just use the paper tray. Duplex works good. Yes its a little loud but it doesn't bother me. Fine text is not as clear as I would like but I dont think you can do better for the money. So glad it doesnt come with lots of junk software like some printers. Arrived fast. Huge difference in print quality from inkjet.

Great LED Printer

"I have had this printer about 1 month and really like it a lot. It replaced an old HP 4L laser printer I have had forever. The HP never failed to operate, never jammed, but was not network capable without a special print server setup. I had issues with a newer HP 309 wireless network printer (wouldn't stay connected to the network, dropped wireless sessions, software was terrable). I had so much problems with it staying connected (apparently several other have the same problems) I threw it away. The Oki C330DN looked like a sound printer, fast, and I liked the LED printing option over laser.
I had no problems connecting it to the network. Simply followed the instructions from the software CD and everything hooked up just fine on my router. It works fine on my 3 laptops and desktop, no connection problems or dropping off the network like my HP. This is a fast printer. The print is clear and crisp. Picture colors are good as well. This would not replace a good photo printer though. One comment about the print and pictures: They have a high gloss to them. The picture and print looks good, but is a bit shiny, like something you might see in a magazine.
I like this printer and would recommend it to anyone looking for a color general purpose, network printer."

"I ordered the OKI C330dn late Wednesday night and received it mid-day on Friday; 36 hours later!
The unit is about twice the size and weight I expected but feels very solid and well built. The instructions for this unit seemed sketchy and sparse. I wound up winging the installation and by the grace of the OS and ISP provided equipment, all went fast and smooth.
The print quality is excellent for text and color pictures. The two primary reasons for this purchase were getting reasonable quality color laser printing and convenient handling of diverse media without breaking the bank. This unit surpasses all my criteria. Pictures and text are crisp and clean and the upper straight feed prints out sheets of business cards without mangling and jamming. The straight feed allows printing of envelopes without having to remove paper from the main tray, insert an envelope, print the envelope and then fill the tray with paper again.
I couldn't be happier."

Excellent & easy to setup & use

"This printer perfectly fit my wife's & my current goals, She needs some special printng for store signage and I wanted be able to duplex print.
I did not realize how heavy it was (didn't check), but it doesn't shift around. I used the network setup tool on the install cd to add the C330cn to the house network. Had no problems and added other printes with the varous dirvers
Called Okidata to get detail info on features and found the support staff very helpful."

Very good quality

"We purchased this printer because our all-in-one unit finally gave out. I print a lot of lecture notes with charts, diagrams and pictures and the quality is very good. I can make the font and pictures smaller and still read them. It prints very fast. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that it's kinda loud. Though it's only loud when it prints and it prints fast. Plus it prints in duplex mode automatically!"

Terrible instructions, worse customer support

"This is my second OKIDATA color printer. The last one served me well for a few years, then indicated it needed new toner and drums, and when I spent about $350 on those items, refused to work. I decided to take another chance with this printer, since it had decent reviews. The instructions that come with the printer are deplorable. It took me all night to get it hooked up and working. [In addition to not providing necessary instructions, setup requires "administrator" passwords that are not revealed anywhere in the supplied documentation!] Attempts to get assistance from customer support have been nothing but a further waste of time. Now that I got it working, by trial and error, it seems to be a decent printer. But only time will tell."

"So far this printer looks like a real winner. Makes excellent copies with clear precise color. I bought it because I am intrigued with the led technology, which promises to be at least as good as lazer with greater durability.
Oki customer service has been great guiding me through the set up process."

So far so good. . .

"I installed it on two computers. On one, it was easy. On the other, for some reason I had a difficult time.
The print quality is fabulous -- the color is as good as my Xerox color printer.
Don't expect to get an owner's manual. I had to hunt on line for it."

"A handsome looking unit. Colors come out fine, but I wish there were a better way to calibrate them. Over larger areas the colors show some banding, but it is slight.
I did, however, run into some difficulties getting the unit properly installed on my WIn 7 PC using the CD. However, with the technical staff's help, we were able to get it fixed. I don't know how common this problem is.
I have been using it regularly for over a week now, and I am quite satisfied."

Best Color printing for Small Office & Home Office
Pros: two sided printing, banner printing, great color, fast, handles well, one year overnight exchange

The OKI C330dn is fast, has great HD color, which is perfect for presentations, pictures, and looks great even when using standard laser paper. I was thrilled to find I can print banners up to 42".

Works great! Very quick startup

Cons: cost per page a little high but not bad

"Finally got rid of my old Konica-Minolta Laser printer. It worked fine, but when it started having trouble it was a mess. Not to mentioned LOUD.
The Oki performs very well, with short startup time from "print" to actually printing. Has a slight sheen to the print, but very clear and crisp. I have not tried printing pictures which I read isn't great.
Very satisfied and would recommend to friend."
