Quickbooks for Mac vs. Windows
Cons: slow, no support from quickbooks
"I've worked with QuickBooks for about 11 years now. I've recently worked with the Mac version on a brand new computer for a client and I have to say this is the worst piece of software I've ever had to deal with. It locks up constantly. It takes a full minute or more to record ONE transaction. It will take you forever to get your books done if you use this. There is also NO support from QuickBooks for this Mac product. I have another client who uses it on Mac and it works ok. But, the fact alone that they don't support their own product is worth looking at other options. I am recommending Qb Online to my Mac client. And normally, I would not recommend that. QuickBooks for Windows is your best bet by far, if possible."
