"purchased this product on a wednesday evening, product arrived friday morning as I was clearing the space in the garage. Easy to put together. Can do alone but easier with an extra set of hands.Immediately added all items to shelves and it held up. Can hold up to 2400 lbs on flat legs and 500 lbs when you use the wheels."

"This was a great purchase for many reasons: quick delivery (3 days), sturdy packaging (neat and organized inside of box), EASY to install (my teenage daughter and I did it together easily - you do need 2 people to position at least the 1st shelf), nice color (not black, not chrome/silver), high quality (very solid once put together, not wiggly), and well worth the price.
Others have commented that they would prefer more shelves with this 6-foot unit, but I like the four adjustable shelves because I needed a rack for luggage items and this works perfectly."

Came in scratched
Pros: strong and durable
"Looks ok, haven't opened the shelf yet but it came with the box ripped and it is scratched/nicked up. It doesn't matter that much because it's going in the basement and the price is good for such a strong shelving unit - I own another that is basically the same."

Great Value! Holds A Ton!
Pros: reliable easily moved even holding 1000 pounds!, great price well constructed product.

"...or at least a half a ton. My wife and I are active C.E.R.T. team members. As part of our "disaster preparedness" program, we have filled our shelves to capacity with water, food, ham radio gear and "go-to" bags.
We bought four (silver/nickle plated] racks and placed all of our cased water on the bottom shelves to make them more stable. When it becomes necessary to deploy or evacuate, we push the racks out of the garage to our vehicles and unload the contents!
Saves precious time and knowing what to take; it's already there on the racks, ready to go.
Another well constructed item from a well chosen vendor.
Well done, COSTCO!"

"Aesthetically more pleasing than anticipated. It has a neutral finish and not the shiny stainless steel finish these type of shelves usually have. The shelves are sturdy and my box lists the capacity rating as 2400 lbs. capacity rating (500 lbs. when casters are used). Costco item 598779"

"Well priced and sturdy. However, as the product name says (and I somehow overlooked) this has 4 shelves whereas similar height units usually have 5 shelves. It will work for storing medium sized or large boxes, but not as well for regular household items."
