Great Option for Garage Floor

Pros: easy to install, good looking
Cons: none
"I installed this in my garage and am very happy with the appearance and function. Unlike some other reviews I did not have a problem with shipping and once unrolled, the flooring does lay flat.
This is a good alternative to epoxy floor coatings

One of my best purchases!

Pros: feel solid easy to clean, easy to install
Cons: heavy might need 2 ppl to carry
"I was tired of our cement garage floor and looking for ways to give my garage a new look. Came across this product on the Costco site, very attractive price so ordered one roll to give it a try. The product exceeded my expectation, it is one of the best purchases I had, gave my 2 car garage a totally fresh look, easy to clean, feel very solid when park or just walk over it.
Was able to install in less than 10 mins after cleaning the garage floor, just need to make sure to sweep the floor completely clean of debris before installation, easy to cut with just a utility knife, free shipping from Costco, already recommended to 2 friends.

Gets Damaged During Shipping

Pros: the 4 i bought at the costco warehouse were great
Cons: likely to be damaged during shipping
Model Number: Item# 572668
"I received 12 rolls of this flooring and each roll arrived damaged due to inadequate packaging and harsh handling during shipment. At 103lbs, this product should only be sold at the Costco Warehouse. The flooring arrives covered in a single layer of plastic reinforced paper. Rough handling by the shipper causes the paper to be ripped, causing scuffs on the top surface and nicks or gouges on along the 20' edges. If you plan to cut off a couple feet of the length, you might be ok, but if you wanted the whole product to arrive in pristine condition, you will probably be out of luck. Tried asking for it to be better packaged after the first six arrived damaged, but they would not alter the packing. The second six arrived just as damaged as the first six."

Bad Purchase

Pros: price and appearance--until they curled
Cons: they do not lay flat. ends curled and did not lay, flat.
Model Number: 572668
"I bought 3 rolls thinking they were the same as the mats that I purchased at Costco and installed a couple of years ago.
Mats were bought and installed in mid October 2012.
They do not lay flat. They have ripples and bumps after over 3 months. The ends curl up very badly and become a walking/trip hazard. I hope to return them. They should have been thicker.

ok but not happy

Pros: very happy with its appearance.
Cons: doesn't lay flat and i don't expect it to either.
"I would not purchase this product again although I'm not returning it due to causing a tear on one corner. I simply cut off the bad spot so it's no longer returnable. I opened the container within an hour after receiving hoping it would lay flat faster per directions. It didn't help one bit and after a week on my driveway, it's still curled up on the ends. It looks nice but not what I hoped for, but maybe in a few months it will flatten out? The price was great though compared to other garage flooring but I guess you get what you pay for. If it ever flattens out, I'll be very happy and I'll update this review if possible?"

Good buy, with a few caveats

Pros: installs very easily looks great, easy to sweep and clean
Cons: edges roll up motor oil stains may be permanate, peels back when you jack a car up
Model Number: PVC Flooring
"It has now been almost three months since I installed this product in my garage. The price was very right, less than half of what the individual squares would have cost, and far easier to install, cheaper than a good epoxy job that would have required a lot of labor for a questionable result.
Each roll installed in about fifteen minutes; one person could do it alone, but a helper makes it much easier. Broom your floor very well before installing, because any small debris will leave lumps in the flooring. It took more than a week for everything to lie down smoothly, perhaps aided by warmer weather. Then the ends began to curl, but lay down when tapes with an outdoor rug tape. The biggest problem is that the flooring will scrunch up under the outboard wheels and under the jack unless you put the jack and wheel on a strip of Masonite or something similar. Jack stands need to sit on a piece of plywood, or they will gouge into the PVC. If I did not like to work on my cars in the garage, this would be a five star product. As it is, three stars is a stretch."

Will Not Lay Flat

Pros: tough waterproof
Cons: will not lay flat
Model Number: VersaRoll PVC 7.5' x 20'
"I chose this product for a workshop believing it would be rugged and easy to clean. This may be true but nearly two weeks after being put down it still has waves and ridges every two or three inches the entire length of the roll. This makes it impossible to cut to exact size. I have tried using a heat gun to warm the material, placing sheets of wood over the floor but to no avail. Perhaps eventually it will lay flat but it has delayed this whole project as cabinets and shelving can't be put in place until the floor is finished."

Rolls Right Out, Good Price

Pros: good price, non slip, looks good
"Good floor, especially for the colder months when you drag in a bunch of sludge from outside. I've had the roll floor in my garage for about 5 months and it still looks good. The texture is non slip which is perfect for winter, and cleaning off the salt and slush from the car easy pretty easy, you can mop it up or just wipe down. I remeber installing was easy too. I remember the install was easy, we just started at the base of the garage and rolled it to the back wall. I would recommend this floor other garage floros as it takes less time to install and wasn't very expensive."

Not for use with cars

Pros: easy to install looks good
Cons: should not be used in a garage where cars are park
"What is not mentioned anywhere, is that PVC (which this floor is made of) chemically reacts with rubber to form ugly brown marks that cannot be removed. The same thing happens with a rubber floormat on a vinyl bathroom floor. You can find this info all over the web, unfortunately since it is a chemical reaction, it is irreversible. No cleaner will work.
Now anywhere I park my car for an extended period of time, it leaves ugly marks. They are the first thing people notice and they ask me all the time what they are.
It does look good, but is more suited to play areas than a garage."

Pros: easy to clean, great looking
"I bought 2 rolls several months ago and have been mostly happy with the purchase. Take note however, they are not impervious to engine oils. Engine Oil/fluid caused the material to pucker. I bought one more roll a few days ago and it is a totally different shade of gray from my original 2 rolls . . . almost silver.
Good product, not outstanding.

Disappointed with flooring

Pros: inexpensive
Cons: does not lay flat
"I thought this would be a good and cost effective solution for my garage floor. The product never lays completely flat. There are still ripples after 3 weeks and the edges are curling terribly. I live in Florida so you would think the heat and sun would help to make it lay flat but I am disappointed. The curled edges are an accident waiting to happen. If it were able to lay flat it would be a great product. Unfortunately it will not. I followed all instructions to the letter. At this point I may actually return it to Costco for a refund. Even carpet tape didnt' help."

VERSAROLL PVC

"I WOULD NOT RECOMMED THIS PRODUCT AND IT IS NOT IN KEEPING WITH COSTCO QUALITY STANDARDS. THE ROLL IS CUT UNEVENLY AND WILL NOT LIE FLAT. I HAVE PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT BEFORE FROM THE STORE AND WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED. HOWEVER. THE EMAIL PRODUCT IS OF LESSER QUALITY AND MORE EXPENSIVE. IF ICOULD CARRY THE PRODUCT I WOULD RETURN IT."

Great Purchase

Pros: easy to install, nice tread plate design, great color, good quality material
"This roll floor is really great, and very affordable for the good quality you get. It was delievered to my house which was ideal because it ended up being really heavy. The floor was rolled up, making it easy to install. My wife and I installed in about 15 minutes. We started at the front of our garage and simply rolled it out to the back. The edges curled slightly because it was so tightly packed, but they relaxed within a week. We used carpet tape to secure them down while we waited for them to flatten. The tread plate pattern looks really sharp in the garage. We're really happy with the VersaRoll, and would definitely buy it again."

Good value...

Pros: looks great, installation easy
Cons: short ends not cut straight
"Thinner than I expected which actually is good - easily cut (with heavy duty shears/snips not scissors).. One disappointment was the ends (short ends) were not cut straight from the factory. One would think they would have a machine that could cut it straight. I'm having the curling issue everyone else has mentioned but I think that's to be expected - may get some tape as others have done... All in all a good value."

Very Good Garage Floor

Pros: easy to install, good colour, easy to trim to size
"I bought this floor and am very pleased with how good it looks, and how easy it was to install. I easily trimmed off what I didn't need from the edges, and used the leftovers for my laundry room. I'm going to buy another for the shop. This is a great multi-purpose roll floor at a good price."
