"I purchased this for my elderly mother who has a hard time getting in/out of bed and turning during the night. This has been very helpful for her ans I am considering another one to use on her couch. The assembly was easy and took about 10 min. I like the fact that the height was adjustable for several positions."

Very helpful product
Pros: sturdy and has a handy pouch.
Cons: poor instructions
"Got this for my 87 yr old dad who has mobility issues. Very sturdy. Took away one star because the intructions were poor and there were no instructions on how to use the safety straps. They were barely long enough for a double-sized bed.
Beware that it was sent in the product's actual box and not protected inside another box. The box was pretty banged up and luckily none of the little packages of screws & such fell out."

Something to hold onto!

"I bought this for my 80 yr old mother after hernia repair surgery. It gives her stability and balance getting in and out of bed, something she needed before surgery also, so this will stay on her bed all the time."

Bed Assist doesn't work for some platform beds
"As pictured and by description, it should be adaptable for all types of beds. It does not, however, work for a platform bed where the mattress is seated below the side rail. It would either cause damage to the rail or the mattress as designed."

Great invention!
Pros: aduusts to various height beds
"Bought this for my elderly mother. It can easily be moved towards the head or foot of the bed. After a couple of days, she got used to having it there, and said it really helps her get into and out of the bed, especially when she wakes up, it helps her keep her balance. She also puts her reading glasses and flashlight in the pouch. Has a great handle for holding on to."

"Easy to assemble, and sturdy. Besides sliding between the mattress, and being strapped down, this has legs the reach the ground, making it very stable and sturdy. It is small enough to not be in the way, and the pouch is just convenient."
