HAAN® Total Sweeper / Steamer
The HAAN Total tackles three chores with one machine; sweeping, steaming and sanitize in one easy step. It's designed with a low-profile swivel head to easily fit under furniture and glide around cabinets and other obstacles. Steam and sweep together or separately. The sweeper has a motorized brush roll that picks up debris from solid surfaces and carpet. To steam, fill the water tank at the sink and it's ready to clean in just 20 seconds.
The HAAN Total steam mop function kills 99.9% of household germs, bacteria and dust mites without chemicals.

We love it, perfect for our life style

"- not light, but not heavy.
- Cord lenghth is long enough.
- water tank is small but enough for me to use for my family room, kitchen and dinning room without extra refills.
- I used vaccum only sometimes for bread crumb on the floor and it works great.
- pad is easy to clean with hand
- steam is hot compares to the Shark I owned before, and I can get 80% of stain off my tiles.
- I love that it can stand by itself
- Cord lenghth is long enough.

Fabulous
Pros: great cleaning tool
Cons: tough to get into small spaces
"Arrived today setup was a breeze. Started steam-cleaning right away. Works great. Others have mentioned that the suction isn't strong, but this is not presented as a vacuum. Your floors should be relatively clean (swept within the last few days) before using this machine. We have a big dog, and this easily picked up and fur that was hanging around since I last vacuumed."

"This is not a vacuum. It isn't even much of a sweeper. No good for pet hair. It does not get to the corners. We didn't even try the steamer because we couldn't get past what a lousy job it did cleaning up dog hair on hardwood floors."

Broke after 3 uses!

"I was excited to get this mop through Costco.com, as I have a lot of bathrooms and my kitchen is all wood floors. I did notice that it left a lot of water behind, but I shrugged it off over the convenience of having the appliance. After only three uses, the lid of the water bottle broke. I called the company and spoke with two different representatives. They were unpleasant on the phone. After a few weeks, I finally received another water bottle, only to discover that the entire mechanism is broken.
I'm taking this back to Costco and I won't be ordering another one."

"We have marble floors throughout our home. Plain water steam is the only thing I've found that will prevent streaking. The Haan worked very well.....the tiles look very nice - no streaks! I normally vacuum the floors before cleaning, and the sweeper was able to pick up the few light bits left behind.
Definitely recommend."

Addictive Personalities: BEWARE!
"I am obsessed! We live in the country with 10 chickens, a large dog, 2 cats, 2 boys under 7.... I almost gave up. Now I don't have to vacuum, then mop. If I keep up on it (like, every other day), I won't ever have to vacuum again!

I'm obsessed with cleaning the floors now
Pros: easy to use, heats up fast, works on a variety of flooring, doesn't get water all over the floor, makes me love mopping

"I used to hate cleaning the floors. With 2 boxer dogs, a toddler who throws food on the floor and a husband who tracks in dirt and pine needles the floor was disgusting and a pain to clean up all the time. I had never thought to get a steam mop and didn't even know they existed when I started researching mops online. My friend had told me about her Shark steam mop but I am not one to buy a As Seen On TV product, so I nixed that. I found this one on Costco and with Costco's wonderful return policy I figured it was worth the gamble. Oh goodness am I glad I did. My floors are so shiny and clean. The HAAN HD-60 Total Steamer/Sweeper is so easy to use, heats up quickly and sweeps up pine needles and crumbs all in one step! It even gets stuck on gunk off the floor and works on carpet to remove stains. It's so easy to use I use it almost every day! My only wish is it has an automatic cord rewinder like my vacuum to keep the cord tidy. Other than that I LOVE it!"

"This steamer did allow you to use the brush vac at the same time as the steam, which is a nice feature. The trouble is, there is not much steam. I could not tell there was much steam coming from the device. I may have gotten a defective one. I tried the shark Professional, and it has a lot more steam and allows you to set the steam to dust, mop, scrub. If you purchase this, good luck. Hope your experience is better than mine. It didn't seem to clean that well."

Not quite the sum of its parts

"Electric broom and mediocre steamer in one unit. The broom definitely is not for carpet use; no suction. Works pretty well on hard-surface floors; the brush roll sweeps debris into an easily emptied, translucent dust pan.
The steamer functions for very light-duty cleaning only; the steam emits from a single row of vents, located about two-thirds towards the rear of the bottom plate. This isn't much help if you're trying to clean to the edge of a room. The enclosed pads do seem worthwhile, but I gave this item only one use to learn it just wouldn't work for me.
Cleaning the hard floors in our house will remain a two-step process, as this Haan appliance just isn't quite the sum of its parts.
Of course, your mileage may vary."

"Delivery was very fast. Great quality feel. Appreciate the extra long cord. Great for vacuuming up pet hair then steam clean flooring from hardwood to tile. Generous steam. Really love the carpet attachment and protector floor pad. Beats the Shark by a mile. Now I only have to use 1 product instead of a swiffer or vac then a steam cleaner. I need to purchase 2 more! LOVE IT !"
