worst juicer ever

Pros: no pros.
"I have been a juicer for a long time. I have an auger style juicer, but I wanted a juicer that didnt have pulp so I bought this. The spout got clogged after 2 minutes of juicing celery and carrots. Then I unclogged it and then the screen got clogged. Then the spout got clogged again and the machine shorted out. I now have a sink full of washed and cut vegetables and no juice. I started washing it to put it back into the box to clean it and I cut myself on the screen. There is no pulp spout so it all gets stuck in the screen. You have to manually scrape the pulp off of the inside of the screen. Its a complete piece of junk. I am so dissappointed."

Cheap plastic

Pros: price, function
Cons: flimsy plastic parts break easily
"I was impressed the first two times I used this juicer. It worked well and was pretty easy to clean. However, on the third use, after juicing, I noticed the main plastic bowl was cracked. I have no idea how this happened. I only rinsed the parts between juicings. I only used this one night and it is already broke. I am glad for Costco's great return policy. I will probably try a nicer unit next. Too bad....the juicer worked well, but the quality of the parts seems to be inadequate."

"I bought this product for my sister, I picked it because it doesn't take to much room & it looked like it was simple to clean & it didn't have to many parts to take apart to clean. Also, because of the power of the motor, my sister didn't have to waste time in cutting the fruit in to small pieces. She loves it because it is exactly how I thought it was. The only problem is that the top, when assemble it has to be pushed in hard. She has had the juicer for 5 months & the top broke. I told her to get another brand of juicer but she refuses because it's a simple & powerful juicer which it's a no fuss to do her juice every morning and afternoon. She has seen other juicers but they take to much room & the motor is not as powerful that you have to cut the fruit into small pieces."

Dont be picky -- its solid.

Pros: strong motor, well engineered, pulp remover, fast and easy
Cons: not a bowling ball.
"After reading the prior 3 reviews, I purchased and used this juicer for 6 months. The plastic is not flimsy and will not break with normal use (don't throw it or stand on it). The motor is powerful. Very, very easy to clean. My normal use is 5 minutes including cleaning. Pulp is damp, and very easy to remove (kids like the apple pulp mixed in their pancake batter). This is a solid juicer with no risks of disappointment - unless you want a juicer to be able to fall down the stairs. I am purchasing another one as a gift for Dad."

There's better DeLonghis out there...

Pros: compact, silent
"I've purchased a different juicer from DeLonghi before, so expecting the same quality and performance was a disappointment. The plastic that attaches to the motor gets stuck frequently and gives you the impression that if you twist it too hard its gonna break. It was a complete disaster from day one, trying to disassemble it- a complete mess. Prefer the bit much bulkier and noisy cousin with a clean and superb performance."

Generally ok with a few downsides

Pros: induction motor is rather "quiet", all (top) components dishwasher safe
Cons: too "plasticky", on/off switch only goes to standby, leaves chunks due 2 rather big gap above blade
"1st of all: average yield compared to other juicers. Can't agree with raving reviews i've read about this model extracting lots more juice than others.
As usual plastic has been used where metal and/or safety glass would be appropriate.
Anyway, all in all it's an okay product.
I'm not exactly blown away, but have decided to keep it, since I needed sth to complement our masticating juicer.

Great Quiet Easy Cleaning Juicer

Pros: quiet easy to clean not messy
Cons: fragile plastic
Model Number: DeLonghi Centrifugal Juice Extractor with Induction Motor
"It’s a great machine that is very quiet, compact, keeps pulp inside.
The pulp is gathered on the walls of the filter that you can easily tap to get rid of and which is almost dry.
Very easy to assemble and clean the juicer, just rinse three parts and you are done!
Taste of juice is also great! No need to spend more on more expensive juicers.
This one has all you need.
Just be careful do not drop the plastic clear parts as they break easily.
The shooter is large enough for regular size apples, if you bought them in Costco whole oversized apples won’t fit the shooter and you will need to cut them.
Great product !
