Fast shipment, easy set up, great printing quality

Pros: quick set up price quality printing
Cons: slightly big and heavy for a personal computer
Model Number: 3075
"I received this printer the next day! impressive!! first, can't believe i purchased a color laser for a couple hundred dollars, a great deal. the printer set up very easily, CD-ROM, quick connection with USB, then it's part of the wifi. All the computers in the house found the printer easily.
Print qualify of BW and color is great. I'm a home user and the starter pack should last me quite some time."

Wonderful Quality

Pros: beautiful print quality, much cheaper printing than an ink jet, very easy to install and operate
Cons: "starter" toner cartridges only rated for 1000 pgs
Model Number: Brother HL-3075CW Digital Color Wireless Printer
"Our family needed a color printer with good print quality (for school projects) that wouldn't break the bank. I'm sick of tiny, expensive ink jet cartridges so I decided to invest up front with a color laser. This one is very reasonably priced and is heavy and feels high end - nothing like the cheap printers you get with your PC. I chose the Brother because I bought a Brother B&W All-in-One laser from Costco last year and have been very happy with it. It arrived less than 24 hours after I placed the order (How did that happen?) and I unpacked and installed it in 15 minutes. I have a Cicsco Linksys Wireless Router and it was a snap. I just pressed a button on the router and I was done. The driver installed easily and quickly and we were all printing happily from 3 different PC's right away."

Great with Macs, iPad & Windows, all over WiFi

Pros: no wires other than a power cord, all devices - ios windows 7 mac os all work.
Cons: mac software cd non functional, had to sort out on own to get download
Model Number: Brother HL-3075CW
"Great price for good quality printing, fast speed.
Set it up over WiFi with 2 Windows 7 laptops first, no problem. Took a little more effort to get it to work with a Mac and a Mac Book Pro, as both running Mountain Lion and installation package was no longer supported from the DVD. Found driver downloads on the Brother site, installed and both were up and running. IOS app I downloaded from the App Store next, and all 5 iPhones and 2 iPads in house work as well. Sweet.

Brother HL-3075CW Digital Color Wireless Printer

Pros: easy to setup, fast color printing, good quality prints for the price
Cons: the exit tray needs to be redesigned
Model Number: Brother HL-3075CW
"I ordered this Printer through Costco.com and it was delivered the in less than two days.
The setup was very easy with wired home net work, once I followed the instruction from the supplied CD. The only additional work that I had to do was to reserve an IP address for this dedicated printer through my Router User Interface since my Router DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) would assign a different IP Address for this printer the at different times and I couldn’t print to it consistently. Once I reserved an IP address for it has been smooth sailing.
The wireless net work connection to MAC Note Books was also very easy according to my kids, once I told them the Reserved IP Address of the Printer. They had to physically connect their MAC Note Books to the printer via USB Cable (not supplied) to be able to configure the Wireless Connections for their devices.
The print qualities are really good for the Home Office or Small Business Promotional material.
The print speeds (for Color Prints) are relatively fast (as opposed to similar printers which print at speeds of 8 PPM. The first color page gets printed in less than 15 seconds (when the printer is at sleep mode) once I send it over the wired home network.
The only thing about this printer which Brother needs to redesign is the exit tray which collects the printed material. If one does not lift the paper stopper latch; the printed pages tend to roll off to the ground from top of the printer.
I have been using it almost every day for the past two weeks and so far I have been satisfied with its performance. Mind you that all other printers that I have had been HP brand."

Awesome Printer!

Model Number: HL-3075CW
"I love this printer. Beautiful color images and print. Unlike the earlier reviewer, I had no problems or issues printing paper and envelopes through the bypass tray. The wireless feature works great. I can print from the laptop in my kitchen downstairs with no issues or problems. Like all brother printers, the software is very user friendly. I love that it comes with Paperport for organizing files. I highly recommend this printer!"

Great Printer

Pros: easy set up
Model Number: 3075 CW
"I don't know what issues the previous reviewer was having, but my experience has been all good so far. I am a Graphic Designer by trade and I am very satisfied with this purchase. Set up was very easy especially using the USB for initial set-up, no IP numbers to input just follow the disk directions. As far as using "card stock" I haven't tried heavier stock just 24 pound bond paper and no problems. There are always limits to paper and or Cover stock thickness but without information about what type of paper the other reviewer was using I can't say. The instructions recommend opening the back opening for card stock, and I hope they did this. But so far I'm very happy with this printer."

Beware of Brother HL-3075CW Printer

Pros: will print fine from the bulk paper tray., quality of prints is fine.
Cons: the bypass trays don't work!
Model Number: HL-3075CW Brother Color Printer
"This color printer works fine from the bulk paper storage tray, however, it does not work from the bypass tray. Costco had the vendor send me an exact replacement printer that arrived two days ago and it has the same exact problem. I put the sheet to be printed into the bypass slot, it pulls it in to the ready position and then at a varying time later it says there is a paper jam and that I need to remove all four color cartridges and remove the jammed paper (which is absolutely nonsensical as there is nothing to remove).
I have been on the Brother Tech Support chat line repeatedly, talked with a Tech Support person at Brother Company, and tried everything. I suspect that this is a defective color printer that will be removed from the market. I really hope that Costco will stop marketing this printer until Brother Printer Company can convince me and them that they actually can and do manufacture a color printer that has a bypass tray that will actually work. If I spend/waste enough time it will occasionally work if I hit print, wait a varying amount of time and am lucky enough to hit insert at the right time it may occasionally go through without triggering a (misplaced) sensor that shuts the color printer down and says “paper jam”. However, this is about one in six attempts to make it print! Instead of printing 19 color pages a minute, I have only been able to print one page in 19 minutes with all the resetting and nonsense.
Worst thing there isn't even any paper in the machine and it still says "Paper Jam--remove the four color cartridges, clear the jam and reset!" Based upon the Brother literature this color printer was supposed to be an upgrade over their last model?
I talked with the staff at the nearest Costco store this morning and they apparently have the same exact problem with a Lexmark printer they have used for signs (maybe the same factory makes both printers). The local Costco store’s solution is to ban use of the bypass tray of this particular printer.
So here is my dilema, I can put this heavier label paper in the printer 250-page tray and it will print wonderfully and gives me great color prints even though it is not supposed to work this way. But this is a nuisance and I specifically wanted to buy a color printer with a bypass tray that will preclude using the paper tray and allow quickly feeding one sheet into a bypass tray. My 2000-era (black and white) HP Laser printer has a bypass tray and it has never had such a ridiculous problem and keeps churning out great black and white prints on all thicknesses of paper.
So I don't know what I am going to do because I like everything else about this printer but it doesn't have a functioning bypass tray and I really have lost faith that this model of color printer actually will work in the bypass tray mode.
The initial color printer printed just a tiny amount off to the side. The replacement printer is more accurately aligned but still probably not close enough to make color business cards. My comparison 2000-era Black and White Laser Printer (from another major company) has always provided exactly aligned printing necessary for business cards, etc. Fortunately I bought this new color printer at Costco since they have such a great return policy.
If anybody has a suggestion please let me know or I may have to return it for a refund and find one made by another company."
