Easy to setup repeater, but stop working in 1 yr
Pros: easy to setup, performance is reasonable fast, it does extend the range of my wireless network
Cons: stop working after 1 yr and 3 months
"I purchased this wireless repeater in dec 2011 and it stop working in mar 2013. The setup was pretty easy, just enter your network's ssid and its password. Then enter the new network ssid and password, that's it."

"I purchased a Router from Amped Wireless and it was so easy to set up! Months later, when my modem gave me issues (which was not from this company), I called Amped Wireless to help me make my router work again because my Apple products were not accepting my password to re-log onto the wi-fi. Amped Wireless had me reboot the router and then gave me additional tips to make my Apple products work even better with the wi-fi. The customer support was phenomenal. I really appreciated the step by step assistance and the extra tips. They were great!"

Pros: inexpensive., nothing to do once it's set up.
Cons: not really easy to set up (on mac mountain lion).

The purchase of an iPad led to its use in a room where I had seldom taken a computer before, at the end of a 2900 square foot, long ranch-style house, where I consistency received a patchy signal.
The SR3-WB has boosted the signal to the maximum 3 iPad bars, and the transmission is as fast as anywhere else on the Wi-Fi network.
Setup was NOT as easy as I expected from the instruction manual, but after around 45 minutes it was working (on Mac Mountain Lion). Of course, I DIDN'T call Costco Concierge or Amped, which might have saved me some time.
A tip I read, maybe in the Amped information or elsewhere: I've given the Amped station signal the same name as my base station, which makes the transition from one signal to the other seamless, usually. I never know which signal I'm using, other than when I notice that the signal is weaker than the full 3 bars. I take this to mean that I'm at the limit of the base station signal, and that my iPad hasn't changed over to the Amped signal, at which point I turn off Wi-Fi, then turn it off again, when, I assume, the Amped signal has been picked up."

Does Not Work With Comcast Modem

"This router is not as easy to setup as it would seem. I went through the process as instructed only to call the customer service and have them tell me it will not work on Comcast/Xfinity routers. They should have made that perfectly clear before I started this process. Now I am on the phone with Comcast and I have to pay $10 for a level 2 tech to try to unlock the Comcast router to allow the extender. What a mess."

"I have a large home 4200 SQ FT. Verizon Westel Versalink was just not letting me get a good signal throughout my home. I was only able to get 2/5 bars. After installing the Amped Wireless- N Gigabit Dual Band Repeater and Range Extender (SR20000G) I have a signal strength of 5/5 and have wireless coverage from my attic to the basement and outside my home! I highly recommend this product and the customer service was excellent!"

"The repeater was extraordinarily easy to install. People who had problems likely did not read the instructions carefully. It is crucial to disconnect your computer from the internet BEFORE starting the setup and in the setup you cannot use Firefox, but some other browser. That's it. It works phenomenally well, my signal is now doubled. Keep in mind that the repeater does not boost the signal, it merely repeats it to larger distances, so it has to be placed where it can receive a strong signal, in order to repeat it throughout the house. My devices with weak receivers (iPhone, iPad, Kindle) now have a two-bar signal where they had none at all before, and my computers have three or four bars where they had none or one before. I actually placed the repeater in my office, rather than half-way between the router and the dead zones, and it works great."

A very powerful repeater
"Pro: very easy to setup when follow the instruction. Provides very stronge signal coverage -- I locate it on upstairs in mid of my 4300ft house and the signal can cover all area.
Con: drop the internet link almost once a day. Connection is always ther but not internet (my wireless router still has internet working). You have to power off and on (just like reboot) and bring internet back.
SInce the good signal and I have no problem to on/off power once a day, I will keep it and like it for the function it provides."

Great start-then disconnects randomly frequently

"I had high hopes for this repeater. Worked like a charm for the first week or so. Since then, has lost internet connection every 5 days or so. Spent a gorgeous 90 minutes on the phone with a tech guy once to re-establish. Had to even perform a firmware update. You would be better off with two tin cans and string."

"Easy to set up unlike the Linksys signal repeater I used before. I have a 1600 sq ft house and have problem getting wireless signal in a room that is located in a corner of the house, away from my wireless router through several drywalls. Positioned the router centrally in the house but still the signal shows only one bar. The ad showed a 2 story home and several rooms but my feeling is that it probably doesn't work as well if there are drywalls that interfere. Overall good but its not as phenomenal as described as a selling point. Priced competitively to the other repeaters."

"What? Your router doesn't get all the way to the other side of the house? Use Amped product from Costco. Because, it works. I called in to customer service just to make sure I was doing it right - and the guy was soooo nice. It ended up being extremely easy to hook up and log on. And actually, I am finding myself getting better, quicker downloads with Amped than with my router on the other side of the house. How does that happen? I have no idea."

"I built a free standing garage/mancave on my property which is about 200 feet from where my wireless cable router is in my house. I have tried many products and all let me down. This Amped Wireless router WOKS GREAT! I am so happy. No issues with my laptop with e-mails or my home theater systems SMART TV using Netflix or my Bluray Player streaming Pandora through the Receiver. Everything works just great.
I am a very happy camper especially since I am not a techno geek and set up was super simple."

Returned, purchased netgear instead
Pros: coudn't find any because i coudn't install it
Cons: short power cord, short ethernet cord, not easy to install
"It seems like this required you to connect to a computer in order to use the repeating function. I may be mistaken but after wrestling with the short cords for about 30 minutes I decided to go with the net-gear repeater that is working excellent for me."

"I am only giving this a very poor to prevent people from ordering this product if you have Unverse using their 2Wire wireless router system. Amped is aware of the problem and says it is not unique to their product but to all wireless repeaters.
I have one with Comcast with a Cisco Router and it works fine."

Does What It's Supposed To Do...With Ease
Pros: very easu setup in my instance

"I have a 3200 Sq.F. house with a office buiding about 75 ft. behind the house...I followed their instruction and hard connected to a computer using the supplied cable, logged on to their web site and it did it's thing. It was recognised by my "n" network and worked perfectly. After installing, the signal to my computer in the office building was "very low" so I moved the repeater to a central location by itself in the garage...I now have a "very good" signal on my remote computer (and am able to stream video), and I am very happy so far. I can't attest to long term reliability since I have only had it up and running for about 10 days."
