Best frother ever!!!!

"This is a wonderful machine. It makes thick froth, even with half & half. It can be flavored and not only can you use it with your coffee, it makes a great topping for pudding. I loved my machine so much I sent one to my daughter for her birthday. She sent me a little cleaning tip that make the machine clean itself. Simply use a bit of dishwasher powder in it with water a bit over the fill to line, turn it on and it cleans. after a bit, rinse the soap out, put more water in and turn on again. now it's clean."

waste of money
"I had high hopes for this machine...
It never heated the milk (as it states it is suppose to heat and froth). Made great froth first couple days and then only made an icky thick milk (and not even heated - gross)

Great frother!
"I only have it for a month. So far so good. Gives me best milk froth than any espresso machine ever did. As a matter of fact I stopped using the frother wand on my espresso machine and use this little device instead. I hope it never break :)"

THE BEST FROTH I’VE EVER HAD
"My husband and I love our Froth Au Lait MINI! It makes the greatest froth we’ve ever had and it is so easy to use and clean. We love a cappuccino with lots of froth and had been spending too much money at coffee shops. My friend suggested I buy one because she has loved using her Froth Au Lait for over a year and had owned a number of other frothers, which didn’t compare. We are so excited about our Froth Au Lait and our delicious coffee beverages."

Nice frother, but wish it heated the milk more.
Pros: thick froth
Cons: doesn't heat up the milk enough
"Okay, I really like the frother, but as stated in the title, I wish it heated the milk to a higher temperature. I also wish that Costco would have offered the newer model, which has the stainless steel bowl and has an option of frothing cold milk. Other than that, I have no complaints. It froths the milk very well."

"I was only able to use this frother a few times before the on/off button quit working properly. Returned item to store, and I will not be replacing it. It did make a decent froth before it stopped working."

"I agree-this is the best frother-when it works. The first one lasted 3 months until it spewed smoke and quit. The second one lasted about a week before the switch went out. I'm not getting another one."

Faulty On/Off Switch
Pros: when it worked it made thick hot milk
Cons: switch is faulty on two out of two orders
"I ordered the first one, had to send it back as it would not turn on. Ordered a second one used it two times....It worked amazing. Loved it. But, had to send it back. It would not turn on on the third morning of owning it. I think they need to put in a better quality switch before I order it again."

GREAT while it lasts...
"I love this thing, so much that when the first one burnt out after only one month, I got another one. However, it has been less than 3 months since I received the replacement, and it burnt out again! I can't believe it doesn't last more than a couple of months with 1-2 times a day use (at the most)."

Goodbye Starbucks!
Cons: glass decanter does not remove for diswasher use
"Fabulous frother & easy to use. Very thick meringue-like froth that holds up for couple hours. We add sugar packet while it whips too. Hubby used to go to Starbucks daily, and I would go with on weekends, but we have replaced our trips using Costco's Starbucks coffee, this frother & Torino flavored syrups. It has more than paid for itself already. I wish the glass decanter removed for cleaning but it does wipe out easily. LOVE IT!!"

"great frother--easy to use BUT makes only hot froth and a small-ish volume. Froth au lait makes a larger unit that makes hot or cold (whipped 2% milk substitutes for whipped cream!) i have this unit at work and larger one at home"

Cons: foth breaks down when flavors are added
"Have purchased a couple bodum frothers but they break down quickly and require a lot of batteries. This is a more heavy duty product and works very well so far. Have used it a couple weeks and it makes a rich, heavy froth with 1%milk which saves lots of calories."
