Very bad
Pros: engineer
Cons: don't waste your money
Model Number: BP3Nq1-4X
"Bought it based on good review, and then found my blood pressure was pretty high some time (not always), then found measurement with same arm, 1 minute later re-measure can get 20 difference in reading. Package is not keep, so can't return."

I’m very satisfied with the purchase,but ..
Model Number: bp3nq1-4x
"Great price, great monitor for in home use (a bit too big for travel), great live support to answer my questions. I knocked of 1 star because the cuff is too wide, there is no on/off switch and monitor can be turned on unintentionally when holding storage bag, and there is no easy way to import old measurements into the software. Overall, after a month of use, I’m very satisfied with the purchase."

Large Cuff Size
"Monitor comes with a Cuff large enough for Arnold Schwarzenegger's arm. My Mom uses this monitor and finds it too large and inconvenient to wrap around her thin arm. Although circumference her arm falls within allowed range of this cuff I wonder if it measures correct BP simply because it seems to fit by overlapping almost twice around her arm"

Easy to use and Accurate
Pros: accurate readings
"I bought this as my wife and I wanted to be able to check our Blood Pressure at home. My father in-law is a nurse and took my wifes blood pressure manually after using this and it was the exact same."

Awesome monitor
Pros: accurate, user friendly, great price, might save your life
Cons: could use an email link for easy transfer to dr.
Model Number: BP3NQ1-4W
"I have had this monitor for a month and have used it almost daily. Cuff is large, but works OK for me; 5'7", 145lb. The software was easy to install with disc provided. After hooking up the monitor to my computer via the usb cord provided, I had to click on the program itself on my desktop for the computer to recognize the monitor. I was able to print my chart out with no trouble. I also saved a copy as a pdf to my desktop and emailed it to my doctor. It would be great if they offered a quick email link for the chart. This is the easiest way I have found to document my bp. I began recording it with pencil and paper: pain. I then purchased a program wherein I logged my readings manually: little less pain. Now I just plug in the monitor and click transfer: slick."

"Easy to use. I haven't needed to use the software cd yet. However, I loved the simple set-up, and not needing to read a huge book of instructions!"

Still debating a possible item return
Pros: memory, 3-avg reading
Cons: jumbo cuff size, long wait for telephone help, pinching when pumping up so high
Model Number: BP3NQ1-4X
"I've had this monitor for a week. My main complaint is that the only cuff it comes with is marked "wide range," meaning it is trying to accommodate too large a segment of the population. What happened to just "medium" or "large" as a choice? It is so bulky and so wide (6") between armpits and elbow. Not a good fit for someone whose upper arm circumference is 10".
I did call tthe technical info number to ask if I could be sent a shorter cuff so as to avoid all the looping around thickness. Agent said that particular model didn't come with a smaller size. She proposed a different model that was 13" long instead of , but it would have added in cost an extra 1/3 more to the cost of the monitor and no assurance that a switched model would be compatible.
I don't yet know how accurate this monitor is to the one in the doctor's office, but I do love the memory feature so I don't have to write anything down.
Haven't tried the computer program yet. Hope it is compatible with Windows 7 despite one reviewer's saying it wasn't.
I reallly appreciate the 3 average feature but it randomly presses up to 250 and maybe the next time around, maybe, just 165 or 140. Don't understand why it feels the necessity to pinch so tightly and go to such a high maximun when my 10 day average has always been 130 points lower (as a systolic reading) than the arbitrary 250 it has pumped up to.."

Simplicity at Work
Pros: resonable cost
Model Number: BP3NQ1-4X
"I've used BP monitors before, but they lacked the computer link for long term tracking. This model worked as advertised. Using the Averaging Mode rather than multiple reading saves time. Installing the software worked as directed, and once I had a few readings in memory, I downloaded the readings to my computer. Beside the limited instructions in the manual, and having a PC background, I managed to get the link working. It is convient and easy to take measurements, download them to my PC and then have them to share with my doctor. Time will tell as to my doctor's interpretation of the data, but I feel much more confident with my data taken in my home in a more relaxed environment than a doctor's office. I can also make comments by day on the results. I post weight, activities as necessary so that I can discuss out of normal readings with my doctor."

Excellent product
"A very good value for the price. The instructions are reasonably clear, I found it easy to use, and its ability to store and display data for up to 2 people is a real plus. It comes with a nice case, and while in use stores away neatly on a shelf or in a drawer. It also has a small attached holder for the BP cuff. It is a real step up from a much older digital BP cuff that I was using."

Software doesn't work
Pros: easy to use accurate monitor, multiple user feature
Cons: software apparently doesn't work with windows 7, software documentation not very good, microlife customer service
Model Number: BP3NQ1-4X
"I purchased this monitor specifically to use the data download feature. After a number of attempts on installing the software on two different computers, the software fails to recognize that the monitor is plugged into a USB port and the download feature isn't operable. The included documentation is useless for troubleshooting. I have attempted to get a resolution from Microlife customer service, but no success yet. I'm ready to return the monitor and try another brand.
I rate the monitor a 5 and the software a zero."

Great value
Pros: well made professional quality
Cons: needs a better pouch to hold the monitor and cuff., the monitor pouch could use a carry strap.
"The monitor offers great value for a reliable monitor that you can depend on to be accurate. The monitor is well made and portable. You can use the batteries or the AC adaptor that comes with the kit. It is user friendly with a cuff that can fit a variety of arm sizes. The kit comes with PC software to help you log and keep track of your measurements. You can keep 2 user logs (my wife and I use it in our house) and do measurements for guests as well."

Good purchase
Pros: great device
Cons: instructions
"This product is easy to use. The instructions were not intelligible. It could have been written by a non-english person transcribed by an American. I was able to figure out how the device works. Once that was establised, the monitor works like a gem."

Excellent Blood Pressure Monitor
Pros: convenient, easy to use, no stress when taken at home
Model Number: BP3NQ1-4X
"This product is easy to set up and use, is accurate when compared to the doctor's office, and is a good way to monitor one's blood pressure on a regular basis without the added stresses of the doctor's office setting. It gives the doctor a better idea of the blood pressure readings on a daily basis than just the occasional ones taken in his office. When using the computer download, it keeps track of readings and makes a convenient record to take to the doctor's appointment."

Great for the price
Model Number: BP3NQ1-4X
"Qulity built, solid, small size. feels like it could take a drop but hopfully that will not happen. Software is set up for use in a doctors office. But it was easy to install and makes a great graph which my doctor really liked. The one problem it has is that the storage cast is soft. The start testing buttom could be pressed through the case. I got around that problem by cutting the plastic display box and using it as a cover while the units is in the case to prevent that."

Really Big
Pros: like the features of the monitor date time etc, also the memory
Cons: cuff too large for me
Model Number: BP3NQ1-4X
"I would recommend this to someone bigger than I am. I've called Microlife and told them that it's too big for me but they don't have a smaller cuff for a petite 105lb woman like I am. I have a hard time putting it on making my blood pressure go up."

Not for use with a Mac
Pros: good reputation
Cons: will not work with a mac operating system
"I can't give a full rating because I had to take the unit back to Costco. On the outside of the box it clearly states it is for a PC operating system."

Ok so far.
Pros: easy to see display readings are consistent, seems very sturdy
Cons: selection of users too complicated
"Have had this monitor for about 1 month now and it seems to work well - once you figure out how to set it up and operate it. Selecting between User 1 and User 2 is a bit quirky and more complicated than it should be. Haven't connected it to the computer yet, so will have to reserve judgement on the software."
