poor quality

Model Number: Invicta Model 1894
"Costco is awesome with returns but they have got to be losing a lot of money with the amount of returns they will receive from people who buy this watch. The look, feel and interchangeable bands are very nice for this watch but it is simply poorly made. It will fall apart."

Invicta

Pros: costco confidence, price, design and function
Cons: quality
Model Number: S
"First off, the price is great! You get five different bands on a single watch that you can change out yourself which I do frequently. I wear this watch just about everyday and I am not gentle with it. One marker has fallen off since I purchased this watch a year ago which seems to be a problem with this watch as indicated by others giving their review but I took it down to a local watch repair shop instead of returning to Costco and for fifteen dollars, they put a new battery in and reattached the marker. I have several other Invictas and I have been happy with them all."

Very Disappointed

Pros: costco's great return policy, visually stunning
Cons: hour markers falling exactly 1 week of gentle use, mechanically inapt
"Can not speak for other models, but here is my experience; 3 days at my door; was extremely impressed visually with the watch and add-ons; thought I was becoming a fan.
Exactly 7 days of gentle wear (no shower/pool/workout sessions), and two hour markers fell off in about a two hour span.
Note to Invicta's management:
If there is a design flaw, own up to the issue and recall/pull product and offer/send replacement!!!
I called the head office. After having explained my situation, I asked to speak to someone regarding repairs. The answer I got from a seemingly seasoned (so pun intended) employee was to ship the watch to them (1/2 hr. down the street from me in Hollywood, FL), include cashiers check for return, etc., etc., and to expect a 90 day turnaround.
Thank you Costco for taking this watch back. At the same time Costco, I am sorry that my time was wasted. Please reevaluate the need to carry this item, as I am not the only one in this predicament. Stop carrying this item with insufficient mechanical design and incompetent warranty service.
I was stubborn, but should have listened to previous reviewers. I am a proponent to the glass half-full theory, but in this case, I will fall short in exercising my usual credo..."

Disappointing

"I just received this watch shipped to my house and like many others several of the white hour markers had fallen off. I own several Invictas and I was not impressed with the quality of this one in comparison to other Invictas. The only positive is you are getting what you pay for at that price and the case is of decent quality."

Best and worst watch

"I received the order on time, and falling in love with the cases that came with the watch, the biggest problem that I found 5 ,in after I open the case that the white sticker on dial was falling of and floating inside the watch, l returned it right away and order the new one, as I'm falling in love with the case, the watch and asst band that come with it. Hopefully the new one would be ok. My recomendation for people that planning to buy, check the white marker its often fell off."

Had to return the first one.

Model Number: Invicta 'Subaqua Noma III' Men's Watch Model 1894
"I ordered this watch from Costco.com. in hopes that I can dive with it, since the last Invicta I had, filled up with water the first time I went snokeling with it, even though it was waterproof to300ft. This watch is supposed to be waterproof to 1500ft, plus I love the case and extra bands you get with it. When it came, I immediatly wanted to change out the steel band to size it for my wrist. The first screw came out with no problem, but the second one only came out part way then jammed, I could not get it out. So I sized it while on the watch, and thought maybe I would take it to a jeweler to get it fixed at a later date, however, two weeks later, it stop working. Two of the reflectors had fallen off and one fell in the minute dial and jammed the second hand from ticking, causing the watch to stop working, at this point I returned it to my local Costco and got credit on a Costco cash card and came home and ordered another one. So far I have had no problems with this one, although I haven't been in the water with it, yet."

Beautiful Watch, Great Box

Pros: beautiful, heavy, waterproof, gets noticed
"I bought this watch for several reasons:
1. To have multiple bands for different purposes.
2. To have a watch to wear at the beach and pool without having to worry about the water.
3. To get a box for my watches
4. Because it was cheaper to buy the watch on costco, than to get the watch and box anywhere else.
I must say that this watch surpassed my expectations. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The watch definitely has a little bit more "bling" factor in real life. The face is amazing. As this watch is a subaqua, it definitely is big, and feels heavy. So take that into mind if you have small wrists.
Furthermore, I wasn't expecting much in the box. However, I must say that the box feels very sturdy. I guess that you can say that its feel matches that of the watch.
In either case, I am extremely happy with the purchase, as the watch, box, and bands are all great. And honestly, the price cannot be beat."

So Sad

"I had the same problem as the other low rating. The 6 o clock white marker was dislodged. I had just had it sized and like to wear my watched lose, shook my arm a titch because I love the wait of it on my wrist and the marker fell out.
It is a beatiful watch besides the dislodged marker. I have a black faced subaqua noma III and wanted this watch because it is a bit dressier(if that is even a word) than the balck one I have. I returned the demaged one and I am purchasing another one because I would like to interchange the wristbands. If I have a problem with it again, I will post another rating. Wish me luck."

Watch rocks!

Pros: beautiful construction many watch bands
Model Number: 1894
"I just received this watch and I absolutely love it. The beautiful selection of wrist bands is a huge plus and gives the watch many different looks. For the money you can not beat it, you get a watch that originally sold for $1100 at an amazing Costco price. By buying this watch at Costco I spent less than I would at competitors and I got a Costco membership too. Regardless of price this watch is incredible quality and I would recommend you add this to your watch collection."

BUY THIS 1894 NOW... RIGHT NOW! DO NOT WAIT....

Pros: this watch is a beast. i can see no way to hurt it, every person wants to try this on.
Cons: the luminos tritnite markers are not that bright, i have to take it off all day to show others.
Model Number: 1894 Invicta Men's Subaqua Noma III Swiss Chronograph Watch
"This Invicta Subaqua III is HUGE. It is a beast. This is a fantastic watch. There is not one thing wrong with it.
Sorry, There is 1 problem. The only negative about this watch is: When I go out every time, no matter where I am, other people want to look and touch this beauty. I must take this off over 10 times a day. WHY? Just to show this off.
This has got to be the best watch I have ever own. This is my third new Invicta that I have bought since mid February.
I have heard that the average Invicta owner has an average of 13 Invicta watches. I can see why.
I have bought all of watches over the last 30 years from mostly the G-Shock company, and A few of the Eco-Drives from Citizen. I know I will never buy another watch from any other company.
I needed to have one link removed and I asked the jeweler to please weigh my watch when he was done. It came up just over 3/4 of a POUND.
With HELP from Costco I am well on my way to my 13th Invicta Watch. Just 10 more to go."

Awesome Watch

Pros: great size and weight, best price anywhere
Model Number: 1894
"This was my third Invicta watch and is now my favorite. I love the weight of the stainless steel band, but the extra colored bands provide a nice light change for a more sporty feel.
Several people have complained about the quality of this watch, but I have had no problems. I receive so many compliments on it when I wear it and at this price, it was much less than anywhere else.
If you've been looking for a Swiss Made watch with a real Swiss movement at a great price, buy this watch. You will not regret it.

2 attempts

Model Number: Invicta 1894
"I originally bought this watch as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. It was exactly the look he wanted and since we both haven't had any problems with our other Invita watches and Costco has a great return policy we thought we would give it a try.
As one of the previous reviewers described, one of the hour markers had fallen out and become lodged under the hour hand. Back to Costo we went, returned it, received a Costco cash card and ordered up the replacement watch.
We received the 2nd watch, put in one of the rubber bands and one of the screws must have been threaded and we couldnt change to another strap. Back to Costco!
After reading the other reviewers similar problem, there must be a material defect with this model. We were going to give this watch a third try, but I don't think I have the patience for this."

Beautiful but Poor Quality-Control

Pros: beautiful watch, nice extras (straps and dive case)
Cons: poor assembly/quality-control on my sample
Model Number: Invicta 1894
"The moment I took the watch out of the box I noticed that the white hour-marker insert at the 6:00 position had fallen out and had become lodged under the hour hand. I had read reviews of this watch on the site which sells them on TV and there were at least a half dozen people who had the same problem with the hour markers coming unglued. Those who opted to send the watch for warranty repair had negative things to say about Invicta's customer service/repair department.
Most of the defective watches seemed to all be bought within a short period, so I figured it was a bad production batch and decided it was worth taking the risk, what with Costco's excellent no-time-limit return policy, and a store close to my house where I could return it without paying to ship it.
It's a pretty watch, the extra straps are a nice touch, as is the very nice dive-box-case, but evidently this model might have a design or assembly flaw. You can find a lot of negative reviews about Invicta's customer service, but Costco has a great return policy with no time limit, so if this watch floats your boat I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying, and why I gave it 2 stars instead of one or none. Just keep your eye on those hour marker inserts."

This is an easy one...

Model Number: model # 1894
"This is an easy one in that there are two great sides to this scenario: Costco had the best price and Invicta has the best product.
This watch is "big," so understand that going in...but it also makes a statement, which, if your a watch guy, is a good thing.
And...Costco delivered this product with no drama, just good service."

Grand Slam!

Model Number: 1894
"Awesome value. The bands all interchage with the several other Subaqua Noma III's I own. The spec.'s are wrong, the water resistance is 500 meters vs. the listing of 100m. A good difference! The dial has a 3-D sunken look. Cool. The versatility of mixing the bands makes for numerous combinations. A must have for a Subaqua owner. Price, Best out there!"
