Yup - it's true, it will fail

"Installed two. One failed after 3 months. The other didn't, but that doesn't matter, because they need to match, so I had to uninstall both and return to the store. It's been months, but Costco's great return policy will let me do it. That's not the point though - would have rather just had a working product that would last forever.
Install is easy, and the one that worked, looked and worked great. But it is a 50/50 on this one.
Love Costco, but with these many bad reviews, you have to ask yourself.... why do they keep stocking this product?"

Should've listened to the previous reviews.

Cons: doesn't work!
"SO - great idea, and great installation video. Very easy to measure and cut the blinds. Nice idea to have cordless mechanism.
What's wrong? The execution!
The provided screws don't flush fit the mounting bracket.
The cordless mechanism doesn't work! I installed the blind to find when I returned it back to open the right hand side droops.
This is not the normal Costco standard of product here. What is great, is the Costco return policy and stunning customer service which I will be using tomorrow to return this inferior product"

Returned

Cons: don't work
"I returned them for a refund. The internal system that raises and lowers the blinds won't keep them level. I installed three and all were the same."

Poor quality

"We bought these for our new home, and couldn't have been more unhappy with the quality. Very cheap looking rails at the top and bottom. I understand that they're flimsy so that they're easy to cut at home, but I didn't want these in my home. They were returned."

Not so happy right now.

Pros: keep room dark
Cons: don't go up and and stay up well
Model Number: Easy Elegance 48x64
"Like the previous reviewer, they arrived, were a bear to cut and install, and then wouldn't raise straight. The rep told me to lower them all the way and raise them slowly to re-set them. Did this and they still don't work well. You have to be an engineer and raise them ever so slowly to even get them up much less have them stay up straight when you finally get them up. This is a pain. I'm debating as to whether or not just get a refund as it took all the strength I had and the re-sharpening of their included knife 4 times just to get one shade cut to size which took about 40 minutes. Plus, they are not white. They are grey."

Great Shades from a Great Company

Pros: does the job
Cons: a tad more difficult to install than average shade
"After receiving a pair of these shades I was disappointed to find that the lifting mechanism did not function properly. I contacted the manufacturers and they could not have given me better customer service. I had a new pair shipped out and received them within days of my call. My concerns about the lifting situation being a design flaw were unfounded. They work great and darken the room significantly, which is just what was needed. They lift up perfectly every morning and this was another great Costco find."
