This unit adds cover to any backyard setting while providing style, function and comfort for years to come. The Valencia's cylindrical posts are aluminum while the upper canopy support is steel, and both are powder-coated to resist corrosion and rust. The canopy is made of all-weather Sunbrella® fabric in Canvas Rust color which is UV protected, weather resistant and has reinforced pockets where it attaches to the framework.

Stylish Canopy and BIG
Pros: easy to install, professional looking, nice looking colors, sturdy
Cons: concrete anchors poor, fabric hard to install, a few pieces do not fit well

"I just installed this canopy today. Including a trip to HD for replacement concrete anchors, installation took about 6 hours. Just unboxing and unwrapping everything took an hour! But was shipped and received without any damage...very sturdy and reinforced box. And very heavy...two man job moving that box. No damage to any pieces and all pieces were there including extra fasteners, which is always nice.
Installation and instructions were mostly pretty simple. The hardest part was fitting the cross members (parts 4/5) to the corner posts because the round insert (part 1A) at the top of each post did not fit well. The oval slots at the top of the columns (part 1) really need to be wider to allow better access for the bolts. Definitely a two person job with holding overhead cross members and trying to screw it together.
The rest of the overhead installation was really pretty easy. Except when it came to the fabric canopy, that was tough. The canopy is just too tight. All four corner extentions really need to be adjustable part 10A/15 and not part 10. That would make this a much easier fabric install. Because this was so tough, I do not plan to remove the fabric ever. We'll see what AZ monsoon winds do to it. I may eat my words and regret my decision. After summer is over I will re-post and let everyone know.
I am dismayed at the lack of connection between the corner posts and the base. Only one bolt between the steel base and the aluminum column! I added three more self-drilling screws at each base for a total of four. With this addition and the rigid top connections, this canopy is going nowhere.
Finally, echoing what another reviewer mentioned about the concrete anchors, do NOT use the supplied concrete anchors. They are a non-standard size being something between 3/8" and 1/2". After screwing up the first one trying to pound it into a 3/8" hole, I went to my local HD and bought new 3/8" x 2-1/4" wedge anchors. These work perfectly with a 3/8" hammer drill bit and are stronger than the junk metric sleeve anchors supplied with the canopy.
Overall, very happy indeed with this canopy. It looks great in our backyard patio and the colors are very complementary. I was wavering between this canopy and the Madrid with its translucent panels. But our blistering AZ sun made me choose the solid shade of this Valencia. Can't wait for those upcoming BBQ, spa, and pool parties!!!"

Great Value, Well Made
Pros: size simple installation quality packing
"Took a chance buying this online sight unseen, but have been very pleased with the purchase. Assembly was not difficult, with all parts accounted for and in good condition (includes a bag of spare parts and necessary tools). Directions were clear, and the only difficult part of the installation was drilling the holes in our concrete patio. Very tough using my cordless drill, but finally got the holes drilled after resting the overheated drill. Would recommend a heavy duty hammer drill for those mounting on concrete. We will probably also fill the columns with sand as soon as we take down the canopy for the winter. 100lbs per column should really make it a solid install.
A final note on the size..I really like the extra space offered by this over the more standard 10x10 gazebos offered elsewhere, as it gives good coverage over a large dining table."

Need 3 people to assemble

Cons: need at least 3 people and a ladder to assemble
"We have owned this gazebo for a few months now. We couldn't be happier with it's stylish appearance and it's sturdy frame. I did want to mention, however, that you will need at least 3 adults to assemble this item. I didn't see that in the product description and thought you should know about it when considering your purchase."

A good choice
Pros: all parts were supplied.
Cons: very difficult to anchor to a concrete patio

"My handyman and I assembled our gazebo today. It is beautiful now that it is installed. Assembly per the instructions was a breeze.
Anchoring it to the patio concrete was a huge challenge. First the instructions don't say what diameter masonry bit to use or how deep to drill for proper expansion of the anchors that are supplied. The correct size of bit turned out to be 7/16th which is not available for some of the best driver drills and with 16 anchors you better have a hi quality driver not to burn the brushes up with that many anchors.
We added 3 extra screws at tthe base of each pole. The one screw provided was not structurally sturdy or sufficient.
As a mechaical engineer with several years assembly engineer experience I can't give the gazebo 5 stars although my wife and I like the gazebo (a ramada here in AZ) now that we have it completed and "improved.""

"I purchased this gazebo and when it arrived, all four posts had been dented in shipping. So why 5 stars?? I called Costco and within 3 days new (perfect) posts had been delivered. It was easy to put up and lends a very classy feel to my yard. I am delighted with this product and the customer service was superb."

Elegant Look & Great Addition
Pros: great price and great look, goes together nicely
"This gazebo changed our backyard in one day. It is a great focal point and it draws you toward it. Relief from the sun is important here and this makes a relaxing environment. Entertaining under it at night is romantic and adds an element of intrigue.
I like how the top canopy is sunbrella fabric, and its color is rich.
My girlfriend and I put it together in half a day."

Dine With Class!!

"My husband surprised me with this beautiful gazebo last month. We put it together in just a few hours with no problems. Its actually very simple to do.
All of the parts and bars and poles fit together perfectly and putting the top on was easy. I can see how it could be removed in less than a minute if we take it down next winter.
We're not needing it for shade yet, but we've had several great dinner parties under it. It definitely adds a touch of class to our backyard."
