Terrible Customer Service

Pros: pucrhased at costco
Cons: terrible quality loud when using lousy cust.serv
"DO NOT BOTHER PURCHASING PRO-FORM PRODUCTS! They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, rude, condescending, argumentative. I have never in my life dealt with such a terrible company. Thank goodness Costco was the middleman or I would NEVER buy another. The product broke in 6 weeks, after a 6 week delay in shipping and then they wouldn't honor the parts warranty on the belt. Warning: THE BELTS ARE TERRIBLE QUALITY AND WILL BREAK. LOOK ELSEWHERE!"

Good product!!

Pros: not as big as i thought, speaker is good
"I just got this treadmill today. I was worried about it when I read these reviews since there are some bad reviews saying about noise, quality and even more. I just tried it, everything was good. I spent almost an hour to assemble it and put it in my garage. It sounds very smooth. I was thinking the quality might depend on where you get it from. Now I can enjoy and sleep well."

poor quality and horrible services

"We purchased this unit 6 months ago. The package arrived with a broken plastic part, which was reported by other reviews. But it was nothing to be worried about considering what happened next. First, the unit gave loud noise due to a motor problem after 2 months of moderate use (4-5 times a week). The problem was fixed under warranty. However, one month after that, the noise came back again. Called the manufacturer and was told to spend money for fixing it, given that it was just fixed a month before.
Thanks to Costco, we were able to return it with a full refund. I would recommend not to buy this product to avoid the pain and time wasted."

I'm Steppin' Up to a Better Life!

Pros: easy to operate; great price; speakers work well;, fun workout
Cons: no book stand
"I bought this treadmill about 1 month ago. It arrived quickly after I ordered it and my husband and I were able to put it together easily. I haven't been a regular exerciser type in the past but I believe this treadmill will get me on track, so to speak, to a healthier lifestyle. I've been walking on this treadmill everyday for 45 minutes since we set it up. I plug my Kindle into the treadmill's speakers, find a tv show to watch, and start walking! It's great! After 5 minutes at a slower pace, I pump up the speed a bit for the remainder of the show I'm watching. When I'm finished walking, I try to read the heart rate indicator to make sure I'm at a "fat burner" pace. This treadmill is waaay better than hoofing it around town and the time zooms by when I'm watching a show or music on my mp3 player. Although the treadmill has two nooks on either side of the control panel for a beverage, narrow book, mp3 player, eyeglasses, etc., I would have liked a book stand to hang my Kindle from. Right now I hang it from the top of the control panel hoping that it doesn't slip into my walking path (which has happened a couple of times). Now that I'm getting the hang of things, I'm looking forward to more exercise on this treadmill (I can't believe I just voted for more exercise!) and the other cool built in workout programs."

love it

"Easy for me to put together-only needed my husband to hold the 2 bars up straight while I tightened screws. Runs well and quiet. Fits great in my small room. Like the pre-programed workouts."

bad delivery

Model Number: 5010
"i got a damaged piece. The belt had little layers come off. i saw these after fixing all the pieces, power on and bottom belt came to the top. The bottom supports on the back edge are plastics and one was broken. I saw these plastics broken only when i removed package. Total disappointment. I returned it in costco store. thanks to the great return policy. i got full refund. but the pain & time to fix/unfix/carry it into/out of home... i think i was unlucky and got a defective equipment. otherwise, i bought this after a lot of research."

Simple Treadmill

Pros: easy to assemble and use.
Cons: a bit noisy., took too long for delivery.
Model Number: ProForm® 415 LT Treadmill
"Once delivered, I was able to put the treadmill together by myself. Had to use a handtruck to move bottom assembly into the house, but the rest was simple. Directions were easy to follow. Machine is easy to use, but a bit noisy. Good machine for someone not needing a treadmill with too many bells and whistles."

Fabulous ProForm 415 LT Treadmill

Pros: easy to use, good cushioning, solid well built
Cons: huge
Model Number: ProForm 415 LT Treadmill
"I was able to assemble it by myself, however, I did need my husband's help lugging it into the house. Assembly wasn't too bad, the directions were pretty clear and easy to understand. The most difficult part was attaching the top.
It is heavy, so assemble in the room you plan on using it in.
It's large, I've never had a treadmill so it was hard to visualize how much space it'd need.
Love the different programs it offers for weight loss or performance, or you can go off the reservation and do your own thing.
Haven't used the music application yet.
The incline and speed control by the push of a button is nice and easy to use. The display is large and allows you to choose which stat you prefer to view: time, distance, etc.
Well worth the price, the delivery was smooth, couldn't be happier with it!"

I would recommend

Pros: purchased at costco, folds upright when not in use
Cons: none
Model Number: 415 LT
"This is my first treadmill and after researching all the available options, I decieded to take the plunge and ordered the ProForm 415 LT. I wasn't sure if it would be a good fit for me since I have mild arthritis, but I have been using the treadmill every day and trying out the different options... speed/incline. I'm hoping to gradually work my way through all the features. So far so good. I'm loving it and look forward to my daily workout. I highly recommend this treadmill. Also a previous reviewer mentioned a strong odor. I have not noticed any disagreable odor."

Great treadmill, great value!

Model Number: ProForm 415 LT Treadmill
"Only had this a week, but I'm VERY impressed. I did a lot of research before making a treadmill purchase decision and when I saw Costco's price for a ProForm home treadmill with all these features AND a 2.8 motor (very unusual in under $1000 models), I knew I found my treadmill.
Delivery was flawless and the guys were very helpful. My daughter and I put it together ourselves in about an hour and a half and so far have found it works perfectly! I especially love how quiet it is.
Only downside so far is that the speakers aren't the greatest, but that's not why I bought the treadmill, so that's a non-issue.
Amazing treadmill value!"

Great value

Pros: love it
"I've always struggled with movitaion but now that I have my treadmill in my home I have no excuses. I have my machine in the basement family room where I can watch my kids while I exercise. The machine runs smooth, quiet and the programming is easy. Thanks Costco."

"After much research the ProForm® 415 LT Treadmill from Costco was the choice we made for our treadmill. The delivery was made on time. The delivery guys were totally awesome! My husband, the smartest man I know, had this treadmill up and running within an hour and a half. Today is our first day. God willing, this will be the best purchase ever!"

horrible customer service

Pros: costco will back purchase
Cons: poor design. horrible customer service by maker
Model Number: Pro Form 415 LT
"Treadmill came broken. Customer service for this product at ICON Fitness was horrible. If they call you back, it takes hours. The design threads the wires through the same areas the screws go in with no protection for the wires. It is impossible to tell whether or not you are screwing into the wires. Treadmill inclined but will not decline. It is now stuck waiting for a tech to come out."

I wish I could give it zero stars...

"First off, this is my second ProForm treadmill and the first died after moderate use in less than 6 months. The price and the Costco guarantee are the ONLY reasons I even considered purchasing this treadmill.
Now to this purchase; you will be lucky if you get this product and it works, let alone have it continue to work over time. Customer service was semi-helpful in walking my husband through disassembling the control panel, but couldn't fix the problem over the phone and offered to send a technician. Really? My brand new treadmill already needs a technician. No thanks! Going back to Costco. Save yourselves the hassle by not thinking you're going to be the lucky one who gets a working, long lasting treadmill from this company, and get another brand."

Pros: like the speakers
Cons: the treadmill is broke when it arrived, it is in pieces in my bedroom
"It was delivered about 2 wks after ordered and it didn't work after my husband put it together. I'm currently waiting on a replacement part which I hope will do the trick. If not I will have to find a way to return the product and start my search again."

Pleased with Treadmill

Pros: affordable, strong motor, quiet
Cons: kind of stinky
Model Number: ProForm® 415 LT Treadmill
"I've been researching treadmills for months and knew that Proform is generally reviewed positively. My biggest concern was that I was purchasing this model blind (I think its completely new to the market) because I could not find a single review anywhere, even on the manufacturer's website.
When I saw the $200 off sale with free shipping, I couldn't pass it up. I was particularly pleased that it included iFit and even better, a 2.8 hp motor, which for the price was quite unusual. I ordered it on a Sunday and it was in my house by Wednesday night, even with Monday being a holiday. I was able to assemble it myself slowly even though it says two people are required and it took me around 2 or 3 hours. Some of the screws were difficult to line up and get in, particularly those for the knob that holds it upright when it folds up.
The treadmill is very quiet and the incline adjustment is very smooth. I haven't tried out the preset programs yet but have used the included iFit program, which gave me a good initial workout. The speaker system is decent and worked well with my iPhone.
So far, so good! My only complaint - it STINKS! Hopefully, that will fade soon."
