Great Bed
Pros: very sturdy bed
Cons: matching dresser no longer available
"This is a great bunk bed, though it does take some time to set up. So far it's been sturdy, though we've had to tighten some of the bolts occasionally.
Unfortunately the matching dresser is no longer available on Costco's website, or anywhere else that I can find."

bed parts arrived in a jumble of boxes
Pros: visual look is sturdy and solid, bed fits standard quality twin mattresses
Cons: bed arrived in a jumble of boxes -hard to organize
"Quality of main structure is relatively good - directions weren't where they were supposed to be - boxes were a mishmash of parts, hardware and instructions - finally after opening last box found the instructions. Bed is heavy and solid. Trundle bed is suspended on a lightweight pressboard. If your child likes to jump on a mattress this would not be good. Must be careful when pulling out trundle- would suggest adults only pull-out -Wheels are plastic.and anticipate them tearing pressboard they are attached to - Also ceva delivery was untimely and unreliable as in past deliveries with costco."

New Beds to the Rescue
Pros: beautiful color, lovely beds
Cons: trundle is awkward
"I'm expecting a baby any day now, and a self-described sleep training disaster with my first 2 boys, aged 3 and 5. These beds are worth their weight in gold - my boys love them so much for the first time they are sleeping together in the same room without disturbing us! They are beautiful, high quality beds. I am using them separated (not bunked) for now. A few things to note: If you use the safety rails on one bed (I did for the 3yr old), the 2 beds are different heights. Also, I find the trundle a little difficult to operate as it is not really attached to the bed. We just store an extra mattress in there (standard mattress barely fits due to thickness), but I think it would be annoying if you tried to use it daily. I hired someone to do the assembly, and it took a professional about 3 hours."

"Just received Canyon Creek Bunk Beds- very sturdy, beautiful finish-very well made. Instructions good for assembly- no problems. Highly recommend."
