IGI appraisal included is over-valued
Pros: larger & clearer center diamond than listed.
Cons: igi appraisal is useless and overinflated., time cost and trouble for a second appraisal., lack of insurance while waiting for 2nd appraisal.

"Great ring, except for the appraisal & color. IGI is not acceptable for more and more insurance companies. Do some research - they are too generous with their reivews. Our ring arrived with double the value, larger center weight than advertised, higher clarity than advertised and the specified I color. But, the high-profile GIA certified gemologist at the local shop appraised it at thousands less than IGI and the color was lower than Costco advertises their minimum as. The GIA appraisal value was higher than I paid, but that is expected as an insurance replacement is based off the shop creating a custom ring to replace yours. I am reaching out to Costco to complain about the use of IGI, the lower appraised value, and the lower color. She loves the ring though, so it is a difficult situation. Note that many insurance companies will require a more accurante appraisal for you to insure it."

Great Choice
Pros: quality of ring and stone
Cons: wish i had the obtion to make band from 3mm -5mm

"I have to say when I gave my fiancé this ring she was please we have look at ring in the New York City diamond district no one came close to my desire and price. I wanted a ring in Platinum with a nice stone. Without taking a second mortgage. The prices is right. The ring looks great on here I have to say the reviews on here did make a difference. The return policy is a plus Try doing that with the stores in the diamond district good luck. This was a good choice I would suggest anyone to try it.."

"I received this ring this week and I am totally overjoyed. I had searched the internet and local jewelry stores and could not find what I desired at a reasonable price. This ring is a beauty. The diamonds sparkle and are higher in color/clarity than advertised. The platinum is very high quality as well. You will not be disappointed with this investment."

Fabulous Ring
"I received this ring as my engagement ring in December of 2010 and I love it! It stills sparkles brand new and even when I have had it cleaned at local jewelry stores they rave about the quality of the platinum and the diamonds. We are recently married and paired it with the 1 ct princess band also from Costco and they are a perfect match!"

Beautiful Heirloom Quality
Pros: guaranteed to please!, give her this and you are locked in

"I purchase this ring for my fiancé 18 months ago. She loved it when I gave it to her, and loves it still. The ring simply dazzles on a small hand and would not be diminished on a larger hand. The central diamond was actually larger than 1 Ct. and of higher quality than the already high quality minimum advertised. In your hand the ring just feels substantial. The setting truly protects the diamonds without overwhelming them. No scrimping on the platiunum either: very substantial. The ring feels markedly heavier than a gold equivalent. I prowled the internet and local jewelry stores for a couple of months and could not come close to this quality/price combination. Comes with full appriasal documentation that you need to insure it."
