Good but not for everyone

Pros: memory price room for upgrade
Cons: customer service is not available on wekend.
Model Number: iBUYPOWER CS927W
"I got this computer 2 days ago.
It is very fast but ! not without a few surprises. The biggest problem for now is a network connection. It will connect but 1 in 10 times (or more) power off/on it will loose a connection to a network. It won't sense a network cable before even window starts. Restart will help until the next power off.
Otherwise it it is a very good and powerful machine. It has a plenty of memory, power and the best design inside. There are really a lot of room for any upgrade you may need in the future. There are 4 USB 3 ports not even mentioned in the specs, surprise!
I would advice it only for people who have a good knowledge about what they need to get from this computer and really don't mind to spend some extra time to deal with a little problems. Also note that customer service is not available on weekend.

"Lemon. Blu Ray drive never worked. Commponents not aligned properly. Unhelpful desk. Or perhaps helpless desk. Now 19 months later repeated blue screen of death. Time for the electronic trash. Never will buy any iBuypower product again."

Amazing PC for the price!

Pros: powerful cheap, best buy for the cash, 700w power supply
Cons: only nvidia 560 gfx card
"This is the only "gaming" PC Costco offers currently. First off, you have a 700w power supply - this is a must. The included Nvidia 560 graphics card requires at least a 500w supply to begin with. Most cheap Dell or HP computers max out at 300-450w supplies; too weak for gaming.
On to graphics - some reviewer said they got a 560ti card, I wish I did. I got the lower range advertised normal Nvidia 560 in my desktop.
Sill... I challenge you to build something this good for less yourself. It's a powerful basic gaming system and the graphics card is easily upgraded. If it really came with a 560ti at this price I would have given it 5 stars.
One more thing - I can't stress how much I love Costco offering a gaming PC that is not the obnoxiously overpriced Alienware PC - I am recommending this model to all friends in the market for a sub $1500 gaming PC right now.
Costco - please continue to work with iBuyPower for these amazing deals. Get an IT guy familiar with gaming systems to help because the other iBuyPower PCs you currently offer have woefully impotent power supplies; such a shame as it limits upgradability.
This PC? Top notch! One caveat - don't set it on the floor! It needs airflow below the case!"

Poor company

"I purchased this computer as my 5 - 7 year upgrade. For what the computer is, it had immense value. Can't really beat the price for the components, not even if you try to build it yourself.
I had an unfortunate incident with the companies call center, and it nearly made me regret the purchase. That is the company however, not the computer.
When I received the computer, the case's top mounted usb deck was connected to the wrong plug on the mother board. It is frustrating to have a brand new machine have something so trivially wrong with it. The total repair time was a minute. All I had to do was take off the side of the case, and change the connector plug to the connector on the mother board right next to where it was plugged in.
However, 2 weeks after purchase I began getting random blue screens. I would get the BSOD over and over with different things being wrong. I called customer support through iBuyPower and was then instructed to download a memory test program. After running the program I found I had a bad memory stick. (Poor quality control) The most unnerving aspect of this was the tech support from iBuyPower knew IMMEDIATELY what was wrong. That is not a testament to his knowledge, it is an indicator of a known issue.
The process of getting parts replaced is as fast as snail mail. You can either choose to mail in the defective part and wait for the new part to come, or agree to them sending you the new part first with a charge being placed on a credit card that will be credited back when they receive the broken part.
That was three weeks ago. Still no part. I had a circumstance happen that has elongated the process, but even if everything went smoothly the process is still archaic.
But the computer......WOW. If you know how to use google, and can comfortably say you will be able to fix simple little things......the poor quality control is something you can put up with to have the machine. Again, price per system, this thing is awesome!"

Awfully darn fast machine

Pros: i7 & nvidia card speed thru adobe cs6 products., beautiful design and nice workmanship, flies like a scared cat through a dog park.
Cons: door on front doesn't latch easily., could use firewire; needs more sata 3 ports.
"My four-year-old custom-built workstation was getting long in the tooth when it came to editing video using Adobe CS4 Production Premium. Thanks to a friend, I was able to buy the iBuyPower and, I have to tell you, it really flies. The hardest part was waiting the nearly ten days for it to show up after ordering.
The (huge) white & black case is beautiful, with the bay window on the side and blue LEDs inside. One negative on the case -- the door on the front, over the DVD drive, doesn't easily latch; they should have made it magnetic instead of mechanical.
It's got plenty of room for more drives, and loads of USB 2 & 3 connectors, though I wish it had Firewire and more Sata3 connectors inside, but luckily I had a spare Firewire and Sata boards and they're working fine.
It seems to stay plenty cool, and has room on top for another fan, which I'll probably get sometime soon. Pretty quiet, all things considered.
It came with an EVGA GTX560ti graphics card, which is terrific. I was able to access the card's processing power to greatly speed up Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects CS6. This system makes my old workstation look like it's standing still. Having 16 gigs of RAM is truly wonderful, too. Now I just need a big SSD for the operating system and this thing will go into warp speed.
This system is capable of overclocking, but I've yet to try it. I'm sure I'll give it a shot sometime soon.
Reading reviews of this system here on Costco and other sites, I noticed the reviews seem to run around 80% liking their new machine and 20% having some sort of problem. I happened to get one of the 80%, and so far I think it's great. The big reason I bought from Costco was because I could return it within 90 days, no questions asked, if I had problems, and they give me an extra year on the warranty. I just felt like it was a safer buy to purchase through Costco.
Oh, and remember -- this system pulls air in from the bottom, so keep it elevated when working on carpet or you're likely to burn out your power supply.
So far, I can say that I would happily buy another iBuyPower machine through Costco."

WOW

"First thing I did when I received the computer was open the case to check out the parts. First thing I noticed was the hard drive was put in the wrong way. Talk about inspections before boxing the computers.
Second I plugged in the machine and to my surprise it did not work, it was not sending a signal out ummmm bad graphic card or mother board. Looks like I am going back to alienware."

Great Computer even with a problem

Pros: support, quiet, lightening fast, value
Cons: the fact it had a problem
Model Number: IBuyPower 2700k
"I had been shopping for a gaming machine for a while and was going to do a custom DELL to get what I was looking for. When Costco listed this one I was all over it.
It ran fine for a few weeks, then the Blue Screens of Death occurred on a regular basis. I called the Costco Concierge Service and they worked with me and IBuy Power to isolate the problem to a bad RAM stick. I was able to pull the part out my self and send it in for a replacement. The machine ran great on 8GB RAM even while the part was out.
Yes, I'd buy another in a heart beat even with this problem.

Good value desktop

Pros: cheap in price, 700w power supply, i7 processor + sufficient ram, usb 3.0 ports, gtx 560ti video card, cool looking case with see-through and internal bl
Cons: only 1 slot available (pci-e), not enough sata power cords for additional device, lack of documentation
"I purchased this PC to replace my old Dell with Due Core processor so that I can play the new Diablo 3. This PC can handle anything that I throw at: games, CS5 with 20 mb RAW files, regular MS Office tasks, etc. I have no complain on speed what so ever. The biggest grumble I have is the lack of additional slot!! After I installed another video card on the PCI-E slot (so that I have connect to 4 monitors), no more slot left!! I would like to move some of controller cards from my old PC to this new one, such as the 1394 and 8 port USB 3.0 ports. No luck on that. In addition, there is not enough SATA power connectors (consider this is rated at 700W, should be able to handle more devices) – I can only install a second Blue ray burner (SATA) and second 2 TB SATA HD. I need to relocate the original HD to make the cable works (which is fine). Some much more room in the case – need to buy some Y-split cables if I want to add more HD.
If you are a regular user – this PC is the best bang for the buck!
On the other hand, if you like to make changes here and there with your PC – consider the limitations."

Excellent performance for the money

Pros: quality parts great case super fast speeds.
Cons: case is huge! but it's worth it.
Model Number: Ibuypower i7, Gtx 560ti
"Just returned a Dell Xp to Costco after Buying this monster. No comparison, this puter is fantastic. Super fast, great case and cooling system.
We play games on it and now run most games on max with fast fps! I'll give an example, Wow was running at approx 30 fps with the dell on low to mid/low settings. Now with the Ibuypower, we get 60 fps on ultra setting!
Just a quality machine, we are very happy thus far."

Intensely satisfied.

Pros: even better than advertised
Cons: can't think of one
"I am extremely glad I purchased this before it sold out. Hands down the best computer I've owned, and most of those were built by me. ASRock motherboard, the same brand of RAM we use for the webservers at work, solid NZXT case, and the video card is actually better than what they advertise on this page. The specs only state it to be a GTX 560, but in actuality it is a Palit GTX 560 Ti Sonic, which is substantially faster. The 2700K CPU can easily be overclocked in BIOS, but I'm just going to leave it alone. It's quick enough.
I installed the demo of Metro 2033 and Fraps to benchmark it. Set it to use DirectX 11 and set everything to "high" at 1080p and the framerate never dropped below 30. I might at some point get another GTX 560 Ti for SLI, but I haven't found anything it can't handle with just the one yet.

Top of the Line

"This iBUYPOWER computer is really great. I returned a ZT to Costco and got this monster. What a difference. The ZT never seemed to work right but the iBUY has been a great experience. It’s handled my X-Plane 10 program with ease. This ultra-realistic flight simulation needs a lot of computer power; this top of the line machine has it. Smooth, fast and good looking. It’s also quiet. Make some room it’s BIG.
Set up wasn’t bad considering a one page manual I think iBUY uses for all the computers. There’s a VGA adaptor in the box with a bunch of other manuals, in case you need to build another computer. It took me awhile to open the front DVD cover…keep pushing it finely opened, it’s also hard to close. Once I hooked up everything and before I got online I checked the firewall was on and loaded MS security essentials. It’s been running great and worth the $350 more than the ZT. It shouldn’t be obsolete for a couple of years!
Don’ let the kid’s use it or you may end up buying another iBUYPOWER. Did I mention you can see inside? It’s full of cool hardware and lit in blue led lights. Cool power. It’s really great.
