Good but not great

"Display is crisp and 3D visuals are great. But, the Samsung TV browser is almost useless. It is very hard to browse through it and lack of Flash support is a killer. You almost cannot play any videos in web that use Adobe Flash. Remote is annoying. 3D is great , but it's just an add-on which you will never use."

"The Samsung 3D Smart LED HD is so much better than the Sony that we purchased last year for our houseboat! The glasses are more comfortable and if you have an astigmatism, no headaches & no straining on the eyes! The picture quality is unbelievable and the set up was a breeze!

"I had a Samsung 6000 before but it got stolen. So I seen this one and a 46 inch on-line for a good price, plus I never a 3-D. OMG, the color on here is bad. It's bright colors are to bright (Red, Pinks,) and over lap on. Plus the black is fuzzy, say when you watch a live shot from the news when they are outisde at night and on some movies.. Had this maybe a month 1/2 but Im so taking back today, both of them!"

Simply put, Amazing!
Pros: fantastic picture, great 3d effects, simple setup if you are tech savvy, best television i have ever owned, costco has the best price on this system!

"I received this Samsung 55" 3D Smart TV a couple of days ago. I also purchased the Samsung 3D Wifi Blu-ray Home Theater System. It took me about 2 hours to set everything up, put in all the login information for my wireless connection, Skype, Netfix, etc. and off I went into 3D World! The picture is simply amazing, the 3D effects are awesome, the sound is fantastic with the Home Theater System.
What might be helpful to know which I was not aware of is that the Samsung 3D Wifi Blu-ray Home Theater System is also a smart system, so I would have done fine with just getting a Samsung 3D TV that did not come with the Smart system. But for the price, I am certainly not complaining!
Things to consider when setting up the system is that you should let the system update itself with any new software patches once you get it hooked up to the internet. The same is true for the Home Theater system since it won't even work until you do that - I thought I could just stick a 3D Disk in there and it would work, but it does NOT until you set everything up properly on it.
As a background, I am a computer scientist, so by nature I find technical things easier than others - if you are not tech savvy, you may want to opt for someone to set the system up for you.

Best of the Best

"Overall I always love Costco service and professionalism. The TV was delivered on time with a 2 hour window. Most delivery services today give you a 4 or 5 hour window.
The TV is incredible. It has a great look and even looks good with my antiques....go figure. Very simple to assemble and easy to hook-up.
I would highly recommend this TV to all."

"This is (was) my third Samsung TV. I did not like this one.
1. The "Smart feature" may be smart however, manipulating the remote control is a "Nerve breaker,"forget it. It will take you a huge amount of time just to put in some words or an URL or anything with words or sentences.
2. The 3D feature is a joke; It reminds me of the pop-up books I had as a child. It gave me a headache. The glasses are heavy on your nose, the moving images are "Stuttering", not "Stunning",

3. Adjusting the colors and brightness did not help to avoid the "Over exposure" effect. Sometimes it even showed negative images like on old photo negatives in my shoe-box.
I returned it and bought a LG. I love it (So far). The remote works as a remote mouse and suddenly surfing and using the smart apps is easy and fun. Guess what, I do like the 3D feature now much better however, I still I think 3D is in its infancy . The glasses are much lighter (You get 6 with the unit). The images are clearer, less jittery, the colors more natural and so far no strange images. Notice many of Costco's TV's have different model numbers than in shops. Perhaps made for Costco only?"

"It truly is smart, I'm going to have to catch up to it! While I haven't had the chance to use all the features, it does have user friendly menus and hooking up to wireless internet was easy. The picture and sound are impressive. Check out Samsung's website to compare models. Price was $50 less than what other stores were offering for the 6500 model. The 6580 model came with 2 more 3D glasses and the skype camera, not to mention the extra year warranty that Costco gives on top of Samsung's year. It would be nice to add the extended 3 years online though. I went with my receipt to the register at the store to add it. Total of 5 years peace of mind. Shipping was quick. The delivery company was easy to schedule and they were very careful with placing the TV in my home."

Great Picture/Sound, No Wifi?!?!!!
Pros: picture, sound, swiveling stand, anynet+
Cons: doesn't hold wifi connection
"This TV has an incredible picture and surprisingly good sound, but cannot hold a connection to my WiFi. I have a samsung BlueRay right underneath that plays Hulu & Netflix beautifully, when this TV sputters out complaining of network issues. Somewhat disappointing, but not surprising considering other reviews I've read.
At least it has AnyNet+, so once I pick a video on the BlueRay with the Blue Ray remote, the TV remote can control the playback for pause, fast forward...
This still might be the best TV in this price range, but you'll likely need the Blue Ray or some other device to run internet apps."

One of the best TVs ever

"I have only had this TV for 2 weeks, but so far, I am extremely pleased. The picture resolution/clarity is awesome. It was very easy to set up. Unlike other HD TVs I own, I have not had any of the HDMI sound problems that are pretty common (and actually expected). The "Smart" functions work very well, but then I have a fairly fast (12-15 Mbs) cable connection."

Exceptional product
"All detail concerning the functioning of this product is excellent, the only weakness I found is the remote control used as an entry keyboard and is solved with the purchasing of a BT keyboard. I had a slight problem coming across my ethernet connection to my PC, the connection was dropping however it has seemed to be solved with the software update from Samsung. I installed everything myself over my fireplace going at a moderate pace and the placement was flawless. I recommend this product"
