The Champion 9000W Portable Generator provides dependable, portable power for your home or jobsite. So far so good...

"Set up was straight forward and the instructions were good. I've only run it for about an hour as a test but it worked well. I tested all the 120V outlets using a power drill. The generator did run a bit rough at 1st, even when I tried adjusting the choke, but it smoothed out over time. It actually smoothed out noticeably right after I grounded the unit, but that was likely just a coincidence."

Very nice
"We picked this up at Costco on the day of a major power outage with temperatures soaring in the 100's. It was easy to set up. We hooked up an 11,00 BTU portable A/C unit, a fan, two refrigerators, and the TV. We refilled the tank in 5 hours rather than 8, but I am sure it was working at much more than 50% load. It is very loud but works beautifully."

"Picked this up at the local store after a major storm and got it up and running after an hour. Ran good for an hour and shut down. Restarted and it ran for 30 minutes and shut down again. Called Champion and the tec suggested resetting the volt from 250 to 240 and it shut down again. Called Champion again and another ted suggest losseing the gas cap and it worked fine and ran for 8 hours. Another ted rep called from Champion and asked if it was working and I explained what had happen and he said it's not the gas cap, but a vent on top to the gas tank wasn't working right and causing a vapor lock. I have to call tomorrow and they will send a replacement valve. Their customer service dept appears to be very good."
