Taste Great
Pros: good for many purposes
Cons: can needs more fruit.

"I agree with other people that the can is half full but, the product is still well worth it! I love the taste of these strawberries, I expected a tart taste but have found them to be sweet. My family and I waste too much fresh fruit that is extremely expensive. So I thought we would try this product. I love eating freeze dried fruit as a snack anyway, so that is my intent. I'm going to purchase the mixed fruit and hope that the quality is just as good as these strawberries. Only wish that they were organic."

Great Tasting
"Augason Farms freeze dried whole strawberries taste great. I put them in a zip lock bag and crush them and then add them to cereal, oatmeal, and yogurt. Of course they are also great right out of the can. The 12 pack from Costco is a super deal. Best that I have found."

Pros: as described great for whatever life brings!, prepare americans life may become very difficult!

"Nice product! Don't really know why anyone would give these a bad rating. They are 100% freeze dried Strawberries that constitute perfectly. Settling is part of packing but it is sold by weight. If it was full of whole strawberries that didn't break in shipping, it would still be the same but I guess some people would feel better about it somehow.
Don't hesitate to buy these because of the less that expected ratings. Me, my wife, and my kids love them and if you purchase them, I'm sure you'll feel the same.
Great price too, check other websites, you'll see!"

"I want to let you know, I opened a can because one writer wrote the strawberries tasted bitter and I thought they might not be ripe. The berries looked bright red and not green at all. They did not taste bitter eating them dry or re-hydrated. - I am pleased with this product. Yes it is true the can was half full - because they are packed by weight. The berries are whole and re-hydrate well.I recommend this product."

"Most ever thing I get from Costco is good Quality for the most part, and if there a problem Costco is good at making it right. Now that said, I'm sorry to say don't buy this product... We rec,ed it fine, and after a week or so we decided to open up one # 10 can, we ordered a case 6, # 10 can, and try the Freeze Dried Strawberries, sadly the can was about 1/2 full, it would be normal to see some a little settling but not ½ can, seems like at lease very poor quality control on Augason Farms part, special when it comes Emergency Food, that you count on when you need it… On top of that the strawberries were very bitter tasting, not at all like normal Freeze Dried Strawberries. I’m currently work with Costco to get this problem fixed.. I’m starting to wonder if I should open up the other Emergency Food Supplies and check them too. Hope this help you"

Great Price
"Very fast delivery. I ordered late evening Easter Sunday and had them Wednesday in the a.m. The box and the cans were in good shape and very clean no dents. The can was 3/4 full with whole small strawberries very tart, not sweet and almost no strawberry powder. They were packed Sept. 2011. Best deal out there. I will be ordering more."
