Need a mobile, multi-functional storage unit? Look no further! The Square Multi-Functional Book Island was designed for any busy library, classroom, early learning center or home nursery. The top compartment holds books, puzzles or supplies. The multiple lateral storage cubbies hold books (both standing or stacked) and allows for easy access to items from all sides. Each side panel features a built-in red “featured” book bracket that holds board and paperback books up to 1.25”D.
Use as an audio cart with plenty of room for audio equipment, and the red “featured” brackets are perfect for hanging small headsets! Made of sturdy birch hardwood, which will bring children years of joy and use! Heavy-duty mobility casters included.

Great organizer and easy to see things.
Pros: functions well
Cons: assembly instructions aren't the best
"Thick plywood with laminate finish has a nice appearance, we'll see if it will hold up against my 2 y/o son. I'm not sure what assembly instructions the last reviewer got but they couldn't have been the same as mine. I'm very good at assembling things of this nature and was able to figure it out, but I think the last part of section two should've been the first part of section two. There was one other instance I found complications among the order of operations but I don't recall the scenario. Whatever the case, once it's put together it is nice and functional. The wheels work well on our hard floor but I'd like a lazy susan option which would be nice if you don't plan on moving this around too much. (Minus 1 star for assembly instructions)."

Solid, versatile organizer for all children

"This book island is a perfect activity center for all my kids' supplies. I put books, "current" toys, crayons and markers, and other odds and ends, using some bins for added organization. It has plenty of room and good number of divided cubes. No more hunting around the house for scissor and glue. Love the castors to roll it around. When not in use, it's just the right size to tuck into a corner of the room and not in the way. Assembling is straightforward but does take a little time. I was a little surprised how many metal dowels it used. The design is smart - the main structure is based on large interlocking pieces of board, this ensures a solid structure. Natural color is great. The little red display shelf is a genius way to make use of the blank space to add functionality and reduce boredom."
