Disappointed
"It took a bit of time to setup the watch. After I got it setup, I tried to use it to calculate my calories burned. It turned out I didn't have the pedometer on.
The next time I worked out, I had it turned on first. However, the calories count is way off. I did an hour spinning (HR was between 120 to 153). I should have burned at least 400 calories but the monitor showed 45 calories.
It seems to read the HR correctly but not for the calories count."

High humidy scrambles MIOs brains
Pros: great pedometer
Cons: hrm unreliable/unpredictable
"The watch worked great outdoors and in, during the month of May. Once the Alabama humidity set in, the watch quit reading heart rates outside. It still works inside. Very frustrating! This is my 4th MIO product, but I won't buy another MIO Motion Fit Petite."

Scratched
Cons: scratches
"The watch face was scratched in less than one week. I did not do any heavy duty sports.
It works really well. It's just unfortunate that I couldn't read it anymore because of the scratches. They should replace the cover with a better quality plastic.
It's been returned to Costco."

Like this watch
"This watch tells alot of information. I like that I can see how far I have jogged in mileage as well as steps. Still have not quite figured out all the buttons - a little better instructions would help but I am glad I bought it."

great heart monitor and pedometer

"this is what i've been waiting for...an afforable heart monitor that is accurate and does not require a strap around your chest. The pedometer is also accurate. I am very happy with this purchase. It also records the number of minutes of exercise and estimate of calories burned which I believe is well below actual. I got this because my treadmill NEVER gave an accurate heart rate and I did not want to wear a strap. Also, get this...the pedometer works when I'm riding my bike...I am very impressed. This has helped me to increase the intensity of my workouts because my heart rate was not getting up there like I thought so I've increased intensity and am burning more fat. THanks Costco for selling a great product at below retail!"
