Some irregularities may appear because of our traditional and handcrafted manufacturing process; however this will not affect the performance of your pots in any way. Happy as a clam!

Pros: top quality, low price point
Model Number: 633550
"I've been wanting one of these enameled cast iron pots for a decade, but the price point of the brand name pot was way too high for me to justify buying and staying within my budget. I'm so happy Costco offered such a high quality and affordable version, so I bought this pot one month ago. I thought for sure that something would be wrong with it once I bought it, brought it home and opened up the box; you know, thinking I got what I paid for and all. Well, I was happy to be wrong. The lid fit uniformly and not too tight, the enameling was evenly coated, and not a flaw to be seen! I used it the next day and made chicken and dumplings. I first browned the chicken in the pot, then added the remaining ingredients. The large oval surface fit more dumplings than my 8 quart nonstick pot, but wasn't so huge on my stove top either that I could still easily fit another pot on the adjacent burner, very nice! Dinner turned out perfect and the pot cleaned easily with no hard scrubbing. I look forward to decades of heavy use and finally trying all those recipes in my collection of cook books that demand this type of pot! I couldn't be happier! You won't be disappointed if you buy this pot for yourself or for a special gift!"

Love this piece of cookware

Pros: way too many to mention!
Cons: heavy and lid is hot to touch
"I received this piece of cookware last November (2011) for my birthday. I absolutely love it. The pot cleans up in snap whether you soak it or not; however, I recommend soaking it (3-5 minutes) for the longevity of the pot. Mine still looks as new as the day I received it. I use it for everything from pan frying to making soups and sauces or baking something in the oven. I spray the inside of mine with a nonstick cooking spray like Pam and 9.5 times out of 10 my food will not stick to the pan (even if it does the cleanup will still be a breeze). It's so versatile. You can use it on the stove, in the oven, or the fridge. The pot is very heavy so if you like your pot to be lightweight this is not the pot for you. I can't say enough good things about this. Purchase it and see for yourself."

Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic.

Pros: perfect.
Cons: none.
"This is, without a doubt, my favorite cooking utensil. I had lusted after the pricey (THREE TIMES the price of this one!!!) French name brand one for *years*, but could never bring myself to pay that much for one. This one is just as nice, perhaps even nicer as it has the upgraded knob, and I would bet it comes from the same factory. Really.
Truly brilliant. I dearly hope Costco comes out with more pieces."

Absolutely Love It!!

"I love to cook. I purchased this in the local warehouse store in February for a specific recipe, which involves roasting a very large piece of meat. Since then I have found many uses for it. How did I live without it? I am very fond of using enameled cast iron made by a not-to-be-named French manufacturer. I wonder if that company makes this for Costco? No matter...this pot is superb!!"

It's Awesome!

"I recently bought this in my local warehouse and it is great so far. I love that I can sear something on the stovetop and move it to the oven. It also cooks evenly on my old electric stove that has round coil burners. I made bolognaise sauce that had to simmer all day and this pot performed perfectly. I love it!"

Would Buy more if they came in different sizes!

Pros: versitle
Cons: only one size
"I use this pot at least 3 times a week. I just love it. The clean up is a breeze. I keep it on my stove it looks so nice as a decoration.
Come on Costco please do a whole line of the type of cook ware!"

buyers remorse because of price

Cons: i found this at my local costco for $30 less.
"I bought this as a gift and decided to get one myself. I think the product would be better if it was round vs. oval. Being oval it is harder for me to judge fluid level vs my round 8 qt pot."
