excellent monitor

"Bought one and loved it so I bought one more.
I now have two 30" side by side.... I can now open so many windows side by side, making my work easier."

Useless for me

"both my laptop (i5, 2 years old) and desktop (i7, 1 year old, Costco ZT box) could not display at this monitors published resolution. So I would have had to upgrade the graphic card on the desktop and give up on the laptop. Ended up returning the monitor instead. If a Ferrari only ran on ethanol would you still want it."

Solid purchase!

"After looking into several monitors I went with the Dell U3011. I'm not disappointed. I was coming from a 24" HP ZR24w so had some initial reservations and considerable deliberating to do. Based on various reviews - professional and user - I went with the Dell.

I've only had it for a few weeks but have found no problems with it. I am an amateur photographer and I went with the larger monitor to work more flexibly and easily with Lightroom, DDP and ZB. Additionally, I'm finding it much easier to use multiple Access data input and Excel screens concurrently. The extra real estate has helped a lot.

And as usual Costco provided good delivery service."
