Didn't work for my application
Pros: attractive an sleek
Cons: didn't work as advertised
"Pretty device, and nice sound too, but didn't work well in my kitchen. I have a smallish kitchen and had it on top of the fridge. My goal was to play internet radio (NPR mostly) and link it to AirPlay devices (apple products) wirelessly so that we could have program streams and music in the kitchen. I got 5 bars of wifi signal strength. We tried to use if for about 1 week. It kept giving errors on the internet radio stream: it would play for about 5minutes, then freeze up. This was a consistent problem that was reproducible. The same thing would seem to happen with AirPlay. It would start out, then just drop in about 5-10 minutes. We are going to return it. That's what is great about Costco."

Good for the money
Pros: lots of features for the money, works with all devices tested on network
Cons: could have more power
"This is almost a 5 star - if speakers will have just a little more power on, but this is not a home theatre, so...
All works as should and able to connect all devices on; could not find a bluetooth driver for one of the media players, but with all the other options does not matter - will not play DRM files over BT...
WiFi input for wireless password not very friendly when you have a long complex password, but you only need to add this once.
Settings are intuitive and easy to follow; hint for slow boot complain - turn the quick start on. The unit boot needs under 8 seconds from power off to play your favorite internet radio!"

Pioneer Music Tap Review
Pros: good sound quality, internet functions worked well, can be used as a clock radio, 2 yr warranty
Cons: remote not back lit, no carry handle, no battery power must use ac adapter, no audio outputs, display could be bigger

"Music Tap player is basically a modern boom box capable of playing and streaming internet sources. Sound quality was very good for this type of device and internet setup was easy. My Apple devices instantly recognized the Pioneer Airplay and streaming from my iPad worked great. I did not use the BlueTooth or Music Tap functions so I can not comment on those, however I suspect they would work fine.
Missing were audio output jacks with would have allowed one the option to use the Airplay function to stream to a stereo receiver.
Would be nice if you could select internet radio favorites via preset memory like the FM Tuner.
Unit arrived within specified shipping time from Costco, note the unit did not ship double boxed, which could have resulted in possible shipping damage to the unit, although my unit arrived with no damage"
