Pros: ease of use
Cons: obvious reliability problem

"I was disappointed with the S6300 I purchased at Costco. After less than 90 days the camera failed 100%. It would not turn on. I did notice prior to the failure some difficulty on getting it to turn on. Design wise, I was not pleased with the SDHC card slot as it was difficult to remove the card. That entire compartment certainly could have been designed more "user friendly"."

Disappointing

"Disappointing washed out images. The camera does not always turn on, you have to repeadly push the on button before it turns on. Focus is also problematic. The pictures that are actually in focus are sharp however. I would not recommend this camera.

Issues

"The CC sup said it was highly recommended because of listed attributes. Sounded good, so got it. But I've got some issues with it:
1. Video does not turn on immediately. One has to first turn on camera, then push separate video 'on' button, AND there's a lag of 2-3 seconds before recording.
2. One can zoom in and out while taping. However, the autofocus mode seems to get 'stuck' and will video tape blurred. One almost has to back off from zooming in or out, to re-focus. Not good while active taping. All done indoors.
3. Battery life goes from 'half' charged to ...'shutting down'. No flashing red light warning. Not good either."
