Neat flying toy for adults

Pros: fun to fly easy-to-use best for adults or teens.
Cons: short running time on factory battery.
" The AR Drone 2.0 flies very well. The recent software updates from Parrot have helped a lot. Video quality is quite good if you're choosing to post on YouTube or another website, although no sound is collected during flight. There is a bit of a learning curve but the device will stabilize itself on its own if you feel it is out of control. Battery life isn't so good. I'm glad the package I purchased from Costco had a second battery. "

Best Toy Ever

" I have the original AR Drone, which I love and still own. The improvements, made in the AR Drone 2.0, make flying the Drone so much easier. The HD camera is awesome! I was really impressed with the stability of the new Drone. The difference is remarkable. The best part is, it comes with an extra battery, which you'll definitely get a lot of use out of. "

Pros: fun., easy to fly.
Cons: battery life limited., heartbreaking when you wreck it.
Model Number: AR.Drone2.0
" The device is fun to fly & the HD camera adds to the fun. It is a good value for an esoteric, expensive device & an extra battery is included. This is an item you would buy eventually anyway as you find the battery life limited. "

Flight Time and Range

Pros: if rich and short attention span; u'll like it.
Model Number: Parrot Quadricopter AR Drone 2
" No one has mentioned the flight time of the batteries and the range of the Parrot Quadricopter. It is even difficult to find in the manufacturer's documentation/manual. That tells me that there are issues the manufacturer doesn't want you to know about before you buy; cause rarely are items returned. This is also made in the UK. "

Parrot Drone 2.0 + patience = FUN

Pros: not damaged easily, different controls for different people, not difficult to achieve proficiency
Cons: may become habit forming
Model Number: Parrot AR.Drone 2.0
" This toy has a learning curve. It is so much fun that you will wonder what you did for fun before. You will unbox it and crash it. But its made to crash with no damage. Your first flights will be jerky and look uncontrolled, Not to worry. the learning curve is sharp and very soon you will feel like you are sitting in it. The designer has well thought out the problems you will have and has an answer for all of them. It is most certainly worth every penny. If you can be patient for a short time you will be rewarded for your aspiration. This thing is FUN. "

Ridiculously fun

Pros: fun, awe-inspiring, unique
Cons: camera is so-so
" It's not perfect, but it is a *lot* of fun. I was able to fly it a couple hundred feet away, hovering and zooming like some amazing insect. "

Very limited range - useless...

" This has an extremely limited range. You cannot go outside and expect to be able to fly it around the neighborhood. It will loose the signal when it reaches about 100 feet away. I was hoping to be able to use this for some arial photography. The range is far too small for that. Also, the image quality for video is shaky at best. It was a waste of time and I'll be returning this shortly. "
