Very Happy WIth My New Boat
Pros: time i'm spending with my 7 year old daughter.
Cons: front bench is a little flimsy.

"I've had this boat for a little over a month now, have taken it out several times and can say that I am very pleased with this purchase. Assembling it is pretty straight forward and takes about 15-20 minutes (watch the video online). The manufacturer states that you can store the boat inflated so I bought the EZ Cart Wide so I can just wheel the boat out of the garage to the lake out back and be in the water in 5 minutes, not having to break it down after a few hours of fishing is big plus. The boat itself seems to be high quality, the rear bench and motor mount are excellent. I put a 40 lb. thrust electric motor on it and it moves nicely, it's not fast but I'm fishing on a lake what's the rush! The included floor boards are a must, with them you can easily stand and move around. The front bench is a little flimsy, it bows quite a bit when you sit in the center, if it was made of aluminum like the rear bench instead of marine plywood I would have given it 5 stars. I just keep a 5 gallon bucket under it for added support. Overall I would definitely recommend this product. Oh, by the way, it has 2 sets of oar locks."

Better price than the manufacture and more stuff t
Pros: great with a 5 hp motor (colman from costco).
Cons: not so great with a 55lbs trolling motor

"Easy to ensemble. Look at the video at the manufactures web site. I wish it had a canopy attach too. It is expensive in the manufactures web site."

No way to row!
Cons: no oar locks, can't paddle by yourself
"The instructions aren't great but my main complaint is that there are not oar locks to hold the oars in place while you paddle! You can only use one paddle (kyak style) if you're by yourself. This is a dealbreaker for me. What happens if my motor breaks down - I wouldn't be able to paddle myself to shore! I'd be up a creek.... LOL. Even if 2 people were in the boat it would still be too annoying trying to paddle with no oar locks!
I'm blown away that a boat like this wouldn't have oar locks on it or at the very least, have a place to install some!"

Thank you for the review on our Sea Eagle Inflatable Boat. To row your boat using the included AB253 oar set, use the blue carry handles as oar locks. Although the handle is a snug fit for the shaft of the oar, you can keep the drip ring on the inside of the boat to act as a stopper and keep the shaft in place. Please see image for reference.
