Description is not Correct
Pros: nice frame
Cons: nylon is only in the center material, rope is cotton
"I bought this Hammock because of the NYLON rope. NOT QUITE. The white rope on the ends is COTTON and only is strung from the frame to the (red/green) material. It is not strung within the fabric. The fabric (red/green) is nylon, but after a season, the cotton rope will be rotten. The frame is great and easy to assemble - use your own tools - 11/16 sockets. Now I'll have to re-string the existing rope or purchase a new hammock bed next spring."

rope came frayed
"Wood and cloth seem sturdy although the rope ends that the hammock actually hangs on came cut and frayed in about 6 different places. We are aware you can purchase just the hammock part alone without frame, but we would have thought it would have come in a bit better condition. Looks as though someone took something sharp to the rope in those stops and sliced through one or two pieces of the threading. That is the weak point that will go first, but we think it will last at least for one season. would have given 5 stars if not for that."

Excellent Quality
"Bought this to replace an older tubular metal frame. This item is pure quality...the frame is solid and the hammock is durable. We coated the wood frame with Varathane just because ours gets hit with the sprinklers and wanted to add a little protection to the wood but it probably isn't necessary. The set is very attractive as well.

Husband's Favorite Pasttime
"Bought this for my husband for Christmas and he put it together before the big day even came. IT is red sumbrella and has held up so far in the harsh florida outdoor weather. It is by far the favorite napping place at our home, attracting my husband, daughter, son, and their friends. Can fit 2 comfortably. I thought it'd be in the yard under a palm tree, but its so popular its on the patio. I definitely recommend it for those who like to siesta. Just note - it's big!"

Disappointed and Not
Pros: top quality, easy to assemble
Cons: wrong style hammock

"I purchased hammock #OP-WHO1BR (BIG DADDY) for my wife thinking it was just like the description at the Costco website, at the time.
Delivery was fast and since it was winter, I put it away until today. I put the beautiful stand together and then unzipped the bag containing the hammock and was stunned. It was a red Sunbrella hammock instead of the white cotton stringed one on the December Costco website. Disappointed and will call coustomer service and see what they can do about the problem.
This set is high quality and would recommend it to all."
