Coleman Evanston 6

" Good/great size tent, awnings are very useful as a staging area.
******Most important*
Buy 2 cans of waterproof spray, one for bottom sides of tent and one for the rain fly, works great in rain after that :-)

Great size and quality for the price!

Pros: sturdy, roomy
Cons: instructions could be better
" I agree that the person who gave this tent "2 stars" must have been reading the directions wrong or gotten a serious lemon because although I've never set a tent up in my entire life it took my husband and I about 45 mins to set this up for the first time. It is true that the "blue" vestibules the instructions refer to are non-existent but once you figure out which way is the front of the rainfly (which isn't hard with the awning) you get over it. We just set up the tent yesterday in our backyard to become familiar with it before our camping trip next week so I can't say much about how it holds up to the elements but it feels pretty sturdy and the rainfly w/ awning provides a decent amount of shade. It will easily fit our queen size air mattress and a six foot tall person would have no trouble standing straight inside. My husband calls it "the waldorf astoria of camping". "

Good Tent, other review is incorrect

" The other review stating the tent could not be assembled must have been misreading the directions. I have this tent and can set it up by myself in under 30 minutes. Its a good tent and the trick to packing it up is leaving the windows unzipped so the air can escape as you roll it back up. "

Pros: basic tent ok for the money
Cons: rainfly about two sizes too small.
Model Number: 2000002589
" Rain and thunderstorms prevented a set up of this tent in the yard before camping the next weekend after I got the tent. BIG MISTAKE. The rainfly was way too small to fit the tent. The shock cords wouldn't come close to touching the ground at the corner so I has to add rope to make it tie down. The instructions are terrible as it mentions "blue" nonexistant tabs on the green tent to start the rainfly setup. The back window shock cord pole was to be installed in a non-existant sleeve. Spent over an hour to do a hatchet job on the rainfly and it was like the entire rainfly was the wrong size. Not happy with such a simple item when the field setup becomes so difficult. Will be taking it back and checking to see if there is a problem with all rainflys with this model. "
