Pros: cost, professional staff who knew what they were doing

Excellent Purchase
"Just bought food this time. I have always Loved to go to Costco and do my shopping.
Everything is in larger quanities especially their medicines, and alot of times they are of a better quailty than brand name products. Especially their cold medicines of which are great."

Pros: easy to purchase online., saved over $100 on the purchase, very efficient tire center.

"Executive is ur best bet as far as membership goes. You'll always get back the extra money u put into it. You can't lose and u have a opportunity make money vs not. Seems like a no brianer!!"

Disappointed Overall
Pros: pretty competitive prices
Cons: limited card acceptance
"I was impressed with the price of a TV that I was thinking about purchasing. The extened warranty that Costco offers is great. This was my first time there and I was informed that they acceped debit cards when I signed up at my job. When I went to check out they only accepted pin based purchases and Amex and checks. However I did not bring any checks with me so I found myself in an awkward situation. Well my husband finally had to pay cash. Then I was going to get gas and I take money out of my account every two weeks specifically to purchase gas. When I pulled up to the station I found out they did not take cash. I was shocked! The whole experience very inconvenient. I will probably request a membership refund."

Pros: clothing selection changes frequently
Cons: only take amex card no mastercard/visa, sometimes quantities r 2 large for senior couples
"One of the best things they offer is their refund policy. Very easy to return, so if you are in doubt about buying, you can say yes and if it doesn't work out, just return it. They offer many food/beverage samples almost daily - that makes it fun and my husband loves it."

pricing and promotionals ads
"when i was station in hawaii an member introduce me to costco and insist that i come and check out the store and when i went to the store, and what i saw there i was impress. in hawii back in 1998, 1999 and 2000. i have purchase items at costco i was very please with the merchandise and how long the items lasted me and i continue to shop only at costco and i would like to become an member again at costco."
